I've not met a single person in and around Shrewsbury Town who'd trade your nonsense in the pub league for our steadily progressive League One football. You're a man of age, clearly not a man of sense; taken in by the Hollywood nonsense. If steadily progressive football is hovering above the trap door for most of the season, then yes please, I’ll have some of that. I've just come in.... From the front terrace. Drink in hand. With all that's happening at our club you need a quiet time. Time to reflect. Time to try and take it all in. Our league position. Attendances. Sponsorship. Commercial side. Ground redevelopment. Look at us now! I had an awfully bad hangover on Sunday after Dover. Mixing drinks and getting caught out by moving the clocks forward. It was worth it though. I have to keep reminding myself that this is our first takeover season. We've played catch up on near half a dozen teams very quickly. I have to keep reminding myself of the sponsorship deals, massive attendances etc etc Look at us now! League One support and higher. 2nd in the league. Semi finals of the FA Cup on Saturday. It's unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable! We'll be on FIFA, people will be making documentaries about us...
But wait!! We're on one hell of an unbeaten run. There's been non stop celebrations. I think we last lost in the league away in Turkey first week of February. I've been away with twice since. I have to pinch myself sometimes. Be realistic. Remind myself that if we don't get promoted this season, we'll be even better next season. The play offs was my pre season hopes. We're where we want to be though. We're absolutely delirious! Breakdancing! You can ask for no more what's happening at Wrexham AFC. The atmosphere's electric. Like the old Den but ten times more. Foooook me sideways! People questioning why the ground isn't sold out for Stockport on Saturday? There's FIVE foooookin' days to go! 7 home games on the trot? There's time! It'll be another 8000 +

We do know what we are missing NOTO. Conceding five goals at home to a team already relegated from the National League. We cant really miss that because its never happened to us and if it did we would be very embarrassed. If you do get through the play offs League two teams next season will be looking forward to playing against that defence. I bet Stockport cant wait either.
