I’m ecstatic! Dancing around the pool! 😂🍺🍹 Other holiday makers must think you are barmy getting so excited about such lowly levels of football, they are not the only ones. bet he is not really on holiday, its just a cover for not going to any games, not even important ones

Well done to Wrexham on winning their cup final today and finishing in the top 2 of their (non) league. Bet those tables in Weatherspoons will take some hammering tonight.....
Just up to Stockport to go on a do what they have to now. 2 big home games, min 4 points needed, going to be huge for their fans. Come on Port, be great to see you back in the FL.

Stockport need to get at least a point from their game against Torquay on Weds to go back to the top of the table.
Three points would be better, but whatever happens on Wednesday (even a defeat), this is going down to the last game of the season.

And the worrying thing is that Halifax (who play Stockport) need a win to have a chance of finishing 3rd and avoiding playing an extra playoff game.
The good news is that Dagenham and Redbridge need a win to stand a chance of getting into the playoffs.

Any reason you've nicked a photo from TripAdvisor rather than posting one of your own though? Dunno if you've heard of reverse image search, it's a gamechanger. I'm really sorry to say this, but I'm starting to think you're not actually going on multiple holidays every year. Maybe the phrase "I'm not a tourist" was meant more literally than we first feared. "Can you be a tourist if you never leave the sheltered accommodation you reside in?" (Plato, 375 BC)

Stockport not playing well currently. Though county with 2 home games should do it. Plus Dagenham need a big performance to make 5he play offs. It’ll be a monumental collapse if county don’t get the championship as it look dead cert a few weeks ago. Watched the match on bt. Must say the 2 Wrexham strikers are excellent. Palmer and mullin.

I watched Chelsea women v Man United women instead. A far better standard of football than the pub league.

Palmers just a big lump really isn't he, or am I seeing things🙈🙈🤔 Genuine question, would the better strikers at National league level any good at the top end of League 1? My only memory of National league strikers is restricted to Duane Darby almost 20 years ago (Noto take note, 20 years ago!). He didnt really cut it at League 2 level when we went back up did he.

Well if he stands in the 6 yard box and gets the service in from the wingers, he'd be alright.as for actually moving around the pitch, running the channels, holding the ball up, and using a bit of speed---- he's ****ing useless.all the forwards I see in league 1 these days, have all got most of these skills and more.am I right or wrong???

Wouldn't be seen dead going to watch Wrexham myself. All he would have to do is call himself something like Armchairwrexhamfan...

You have just latched on to Wrexham to try and annoy Shrewsbury fans. You are just a WUM.

I'm going to say the following in the hope that it jinxes it, and if it doesn't jinx it, then at least I would have the satisfaction of being correct from a football point of view:
WREXHAM WILL WIN THE 2021/22 NATIONAL LEAGUE TITLE.
Another statement of fact: Wrexham have bought any promotion that they achieve this season.

That I could dispute your claim suggests you’ve put forward a statement of opinion. Just saying.

For many years Wrexham was picked to pieces (asset-stripped basically) by vultures like Mark Guterman, Alex Hamilton and Geoff Moss. Once they disappeared we then went through a number of frugal years run by the supporters trust. We reduced the massive debt by spending very little. Then we won the lottery last year. We’ve spent a fair bit in a short space of time, but very little over the last few years compared to others. You’ll disagree, but Wrexham fans deserve a bit of money coming their way and any success that comes with it.

Could also dispute your statement of fact by pointing out we’re generating absolutely shed loads of money. Another 10,000+ gate yesterday. Netflix must be loving our season - a trip to Wembley and the league being decided on the last day of the season. Drama. Throw in R&R. The Yanks are going to go mad for it. The not so insignificant fact that we’re sponsored by the sixth biggest social media platform IN THE WORLD. Expedia put money our way too. We’re spending money that’s there. I accept this may not last forever, but I think any Wrexham fan will tell you this is such a great time for us and we’re loving it. Promotion this season or not, I haven’t enjoyed a football season like this for years and years. That’s what it’s all about, surely.

You need to watch Palmer more often. I bet you change your mind. He’s actually not that dominant in the air; excellent first touch; deceptively quick for his stature; more often than not takes two defenders out of the game and so allows Mullin countless one-on-one situations. Palmer and Mullin are both very clever players and complement each other well. No fluke that our run has coincided with Palmer’s signing. A really good player at this level.

Scored something like 10 in 25 for Wimbledon prior to signing for us. Not a bad return in a struggling side

Doc, would he be any good in league 1, that's what I'm trying to say, not really comparable to a lot of very good strikers in league 1 I couldn’t say how Palmer compares to L1 strikers because I know absolutely nothing about L1. From reading this thread, Shrews fans’ knowledge of pub football far outweighs my knowledge of L1.
