I have a slightly more recent memory - Wrexham lad Darren Moss scoring for Town at the New Meadow to pretty well condemn Wrexham to a spell in the Conference. We had a spell there which lasted 12 months so I never dreamt that that would take an age to get back to the heady heights of Fourth Division football. My most recent memory of our encounters at GM was a 1-0 victory. I think that will always make Wrexham the last club to win a league game there. Didnt actually help you very much in the long term though did it.

Last meetings were in 2007/8,we won 1-0 at Racecourse and destroyed them at the New Meadow 3-0.Pretty sure that this was a 12 noon Sunday morning K.O ??
Remember getting the P&R from Oxon and there was a separate red, rear platform, double decker for the Wrexham fans to go on.Got back to Oxon after the match and waited for the double decker to return to give Wrexham fans some banter.
They were so depressed they didn't give any back as they knew relegation was coming😀😀😀
Happy days!!

Ber they didnt expect to still be non league FIFTEEN YEARS later 😂 From what I remember of them I would imagine that quite a few of them are no longer with us ! Their bus was old and so were a large number of their supporters

You missed out the beautiful club that is MK Dons. Mustn’t forget Cheltenham, Exeter and Cambridge as well All clubs you could only dream of playing, if you get past your FA Cup QUALIFYING round.

I think this could be Wrexham's year; get to the 1st round proper of the FA Cup, draw Grimsby and lose. Actually get to the play-off final and lose to Bore'em Wood.

Bet they didnt expect to still be non league FIFTEEN YEARS later 😂 To be honest Grizzly, there were occasions in the last 15 years when we didn’t expect to have a club at all. Our biggest victories in recent years have been in the courtroom. Makes what is happening right now all the more enjoyable.

Sam Dalby. Now to be fair, that is a WOW signing. 14 games for Woking, but to top that, he even scored a goal!

Saw Dalby twice last season and he’s a very good player. Only 22 and will be excellent back up for Palmer. He scored against us at Roots Hall and baited the Wrexham fans with ‘F*** you Hollywood sh**e’.

Perhaps you should sign one or two players with an edge to their character. Never know, might finish the season closer to mid-table than the bottom.

Mendy is comfortably the best left back in the NL. That is a very decent signing. Just Lowery from Crewe and we may just be ready 👍

Parkinson inherited a lot of average players last season and has now replaced them with his own. You have to remember we finished second last time out and this squad is on a totally different level. No excuses for PP now though, this is his squad of players and he’ll fall on his sword if he fails to win promotion this time round.

Perhaps you should sign one or two players with an edge to their character. Never know, might finish the season closer to mid-table than the bottom. Yeah, I’m sure your Non-League players are of a much stronger character and mental fortitude than our League One players. And a 17th-placed finish is closer to 12th than it is to 24th. Do the math.

Bookies have us at 6/4 followed by Chesterfield 17/2. If Tshiminga comes back all guns blazing and the player he was, that’s a decent bet

Saw Eastleigh at 10/1 for the win on Saturday. Decent odds in a two-horse race. Could be worth a punt

Another great signing. Jacob Mendy What a fantastic close season? We're absolutely delirious! Just Tom Lowery to join now..... Lowery is a strange one, obviously a decent player despite his lack of height and has been rumoured to have had trials/training with both Ipswich and Vale. Obviously has an idiot for an agent who has messed him around, just like Mullens agent messed up a big move to Charlton and he had to settle for you lot. Believe that Mullen sacked him

Mullin never had any intention of staying down south after Cambridge. His wife stayed on the Wirral throughout his entire time at Cambridge and insisted he moved back up north. He’s been quoted many times that putting his kid to bed each night is worth more than anything. He could have gone to Blackburn I believe, but we offered more money.

Has there ever been a Shewsbury fan who has gone onto, say, near neighbour Stoke City's or Wolves message board to announce every signing, every ground improvement, every detail about our Chairman?
Last thing any Shrewsbury fan want to do, it would obviously set them up for ridicule from the higher up the pyramid club's fans. Why do Wrexham fans do it?
