Sniffing out the bargains in TK Maxx in Wolverhampton.
Seems a very unassuming bloke.
First time I've ever been in the place and there was a Town player. Bizarre. It's getting to be a bit of a habit -I was talking to Kevin Seabury Saturday afternoon.
Tolley was in there too - heavily discounted.

He was loaded with shopping and so I didn't get much beyond admonishing him for not suffering with the rest of us. He's a nice lad to talk to. He doesn't go to games too often at the moment as he suffers like the rest of us. "Was it bad?" he said. Well, by the time I'd finished my answer to that question it was time for me to go.

Walked around town shopping one day with Throb, I had talked to him stacks of times as our kids used to attend the same school, cracked me up when he said "dont mind if I hand about with you for a while, have to geta few things for the wife" Have had a few drinking sessions with ex Town players Wayne Williams, John McGinaly and Dougie Bell and various stages of their careers. The latter two can drink

Apparantly, Duane is sounding the club out about a pay-off at the moment.

Maybe I'm getting soft in my old age, but having talked to the bloke for a quarter of a hour or so I can't call him a donkey or slag him off - as soon as I pointed to my enamel badge on my coat he cracked into a smile and shook my hand.

I thought the same about John Grant on Saturday and wondered if we had been too harsh in the fanzine on what is only a young lad. Then he came on......
