We did speak. I was at the bar when you first came in.
Sorry about getting Loyalshrew and Ant mixed up. How could I have made such an obvious mistake?

Islay lad , you should have told someone you were coming we'd have bought you a few pints. I presume that you went to the game which must have left you somewhat bemused after the fayre you usually watch. The Town were truely dreadful. What were your impression's of the day as a whole? it's always good to get an outsider's view of things Now that your a convert you'll be expected at Bury on Boxing day. ;D

Ah quality! :)If you ever plan to come to see Town again we'll have to arrange to meet up for a pre-match drink. Although I'd imagine STFC and our negative feelings after the game have probably put you off ever coming to a game again

Yes I was at the bar and pretty gutted about the whole thing Are you the guy on his way up north from Cardiff? or was that someone else? Yes. That was me. Hi Jamo. Didn’t actually know I was coming. Stayed in Cardiff on Friday night after a clients ‘soiree’ and was travelling northbound for a family gathering last night. Realised that it wouldn’t take much of a detour to catch the game (as it had kindly been scheduled to suit my timetable), so got there about 5 minutes after kick-off. Not at all as unimpressed as you might think. Lots of fight, and were certainly no worse than Mansfield. Apart from two defensive lapses, which could happen to anyone, looked solid enough at the back – except maybe Challis gets skinned a bit too often. Impressed by Lowe. Seems too able to think and play at the same time, which is a bit unusual. Rodgers was disappointing. Not enough skill and ‘real’ pace to make up for his size. Quick, yes, but not quick enough, as I saw it. Crowd? Weird. Individuals getting on players backs in the first few minutes. Mass exodus after the second goal. I found it a bit odd really. They were giving it their all, were never outplayed, but a significant number of fans seemed to be looking to have a moan as early as possible. I stood on the Riverside for the first half, had a delectable Balti Pie and Bovril, and watched the second half from the corner (By the toilets). Don’t be too despondent. Two fortuitous goals for them, and a goal mouth scramble and a clear cut chance for your sub could easily, on another day, have given you the points. Keep the faith.

fair summary that, we lacked many first teamers due to suspension and the replacements were not good enough, probably the worst we have played for a long time even under JQ, however GP knows his stuff and he'll sort us out i do have confidence in him more so then any other manager we have had since Graham Turner.

Good stuff Islay, as i said previously it's often good for someone without the emotional attachment to cast their eye over proceedings. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own sea of despair that we don't see any positives at all which is pretty much how i felt leaving the Meadow yesterday. If the opportunity arises to visit again make sure you let someone on here know, we can't have you drinking on your own.
