OK, its the same for both sides, so it can't be used as an excuse, but why the hell is the surface at GM so rough? We play on a decent surface at Chester, and put together some slick passing moves, but we come home, and it's a bit like playing on the surface of the moon. I guarantee that if you rolled or kicked a ball 20 yards there, it would only spend 50% of it's travel, in contact with the grass. It has been the same for years, and we have blamed floods in the past, but surely we can't use that one yet. If GP wants us to play quick, passing football, can he arrange for all matches between now and late March, to be played away, 'cos it sure as hell will get worse before it gets better.

I have to be honest, and say that all the tons of sand spread on the surface, after countless floods, have probably not helped. Today was akin to kicking a ball about on the sands of Ynyslas.

humm was not the pitch just as bad last year !! As I recall, Jimmy Quinn complained regularly about the state of the pitch. Not sure it excuses some of our attempts at playing yesterday though
