i cant understand why we dont try him on the wing. he is not scoring goals but he can still take players on. try playing him deeper for a bit.
what does everyone think?

Yeh i ad thought of this but he stil puts his weight arpund upfront and can hold the ball up well for other peeps such as langmead. I think oin the next few games luke is goin to hget a goal u cud c how determined he was to try and get one today! Ones he does though he will get a bucketfull.

fail to see how playing an out of sorts striker outwide will help them regain their confidence.

My personal opinion. Luke has lost a yard of pace, he's not scaring defenders anymore, they all seem to be able to fend him off easier. When a player who relies on pace so much loses that little burst to get away from defenders, the lack of other things in his game shows up markedly.
Is he past his best, maybe.
It's all well and good saying he needs a goal, but there has to come a time when enough is enough and he needs to be left out.
i beleive when sammy is fit again he will be on the right hand side and Ryan will move back up front alongside Langmead, that i think will work.

I agree with that, not seen Luke much but when I have he seems to have lost a little of his pace. Its no surprise though is it? Looks to me as though he has sacrificied pace for more strength. I think he's heavier because of the amount of work he does at the gym and therefore isn't as quick as he once was...needs to get the balance right I reckon...
