.... to stay in this League, we have one of the poorest squads in League 2 and have just suffered two successive home defeats to two, very average sides in this division who could easily be beaten on their travels. We failed to kill off an equally poor side on their own patch last week, which we paid the penalty for.

Gary Peters has quoted in the B&A fanzine as saying he does not want people to automatically assume we're going to get out of trouble just because we have a bright and committed new manager (and I think some people on this board have been thinking that), I think GP is the right man for the club but he can only do so much to get us out of this mess, if we did go down this season I would still want him to stay in charge of this club because he is the man who will turn things around in the long term IMO.

As I said before, we have one of the poorest squads in this league (IMO they are worse than the 2002-03 side) and the only way the players can combat this problem is by seeing 11 men sweating their b******s off during every game, closing the opposition down at all times and CONVERTING THE FEW CHANCES YOU HAVE GOT WHEN YOU HAVE THEM!

We can stay up but it will only be down to hard work and sheer bloody determination on the players part, I will continue to back GP but the supporters must realise we are a poor side and I think this will go to the last day, we're in for another nervous rollercoaster ride with the Conference folks.

We are a poor squad but GP has been brought in to improve things.I heard people say that once Gp brings his own players in you will see the difference.Well you had 3 of GP's players in the team today and they havn't improved things one iota.In fact I would say that the 3 players he has signed that played today not one of them is any better that what we already had in the squad.

Burns will probably end up being first choice alongside DW just because he's GP's man.He's certainly no better than whitehead or ridler,although he is possibly better than Tinson.

Ashton does exactly the same thing on the left as Ryan Lowe does on the right but just gets ridiculed a lot less.delivery was poor and struggled to take a man on.

Langmead.If this blokes worth a 21/2 year contract and the saviour of our season,god help us.We may as well get next seasons conference fixtures now.He's not been a prolific goalscorer in the past and I've seen no evidence to suggest he will be.Yes he huffs and puffs and gives 100% but so does Luke Rogers,Duane Darby and John Grant.He's no better than what we've already got......O.K he's bettter than John Grant.
