Jesus foookin christ. Been out of the loop all day, come home to this. 1) Once again we cant score a goal in 90 mins at home. 2) Weve still signed nobody despite having a laughingly called "Head of Recruitment" to source players for us, and a squad seriously down on numbers. 3) Weve been told of a large handful of players who have turned us down. 4) Now our brightest loan in recent years Chapman has been signed by the league giants Burton foookin Albion (no disrespect). Roland if you are selling up, please, please do it quickly - I've always supported you and the way you run the club but these last few months it's become a total joke. Many will tell you if we paid 50% of Chapman's wages for four months we'd have gone bust.

Burton are definitely more appealing than us at the moment.

Aaron Wilbraham episode just released on ‘I had trials once’ podcast on Spotify. Last 15 mins he talks about his time at Shrewsbury and tells a story about Harry Chapman not shaking his hand & Cotterill going mad.. worth a listen if you have 15 spare

Didn't follow Cotterill and haven't heard of him doing anything else. Chapman meanwhile is now largely a benchwarner in league two. His purple patch for town the standout bit of his career really. Scored 7 league goals for town across half a season but only 6 league goals across all his other clubs before and after town. (3 before and 3 since). Expect him to drift into non league as he's out of contract in the summer

He's been playing for roughly 8 years and nearly half of his career goals came in a 6 month loan spell with us.
