What can I say? Today was a really terrible showing. Mansfiled are rubbish yet easily won here. Howie- must be a concentration thing, he had nothing much to do yet conceded two, but he has no competition for his place. Whitehead and Burns- did their jobs ok, let down by them around them. Tinson and Challis- where the hell are the players from last season? Both as far as i can see can go! Lowe- for the last time he is not a winger, he doesnt take a man on and very often gives the ball away. Tolley- £10,000 or £10? a poor show, but did'nt deserve the stick dished out from the terraces. Sedgemore- Jake isnt good enough. Ashton- will pass more judgemore after seeing him more, reminds me of Lee Bell, remember him? Rodgers- outside the box, looks great, inside doesnt show up, Im sorry but DROP HIM OR REST HIM Langmead- our one true player today! Subs Street- a chest down to assist in their second... Grant- a tryer, but ffs he's terrible, but didnt deserve stick he got

Twas Luke who crossed the ball in the box for us to miss from 3 yards.... Can Howie be blamed for either goal? Asamoa had a free run into the box befor whacking it in the croner from less than 10 yards. And anyone who recieves the ball at their feet 4 yards from goal unmarked Like Murray did should score. For the second game running I thought Lowe looked like the main man,

Twas Luke who crossed the ball in the box for us to miss from 3 yards.... Can Howie be blamed for either goal? It was Luke yes, but scoring goals is what a striker is required to do. No goals since september. Howie not blamed for goals, but like the Rochdale game he didnt have a lot to do, but conceded two.

Indeed he didnt have a lot to do, however i dont see what that has to do with him conceding 2 goals???
As for Luke, well there are signs that he and Langmead might be hitting it off, so it would be silly to drop him especially whilst he is still creating chances for other sand we have no other options-yes I'd leave Lowe on the right

Im suggesting Howie's concentration levels arent as good as they could be. Im not happy with Luke's goalscoring and I would drop him and well down on being the only person who thinks Lowe is ample on the right wing Rob ;D

LOL-well based on the last two performances I've seen , he was the catlyst for our stiring second half display against Chester, and he looked like the only capable player in midfield and continued to look dangerous today (well untill he hurt his arm).
Surely Howies concentration has little to do tho with Murray scoring from 4 yards after street fecked up, and conceding too an Asamoa strike after Trev let him in down the right and then the defence just stood and watched, surely it has more to do with the concentration in defence

In both of the previous home games, the only thing that has let us down is... A) our finishing in the oppents box B) the defending in our own. I think that is where the main problems lie. I admit that today we did make mansfield look good....which is bloody hard to do. On the plus side... recently our away performances have looked encouraging, especially the second half at chester. even at sc***horpe we had a good go at them with 10 men, I have faith that GP will change things, it won't happen right away though.

Im suggesting Howie's concentration levels arent as good as they could be. ;D you may be right JP but theres no evidence from todays game to support that -hopelessly let down by poor defending not for the forst time this season

Ive been trying to prove something on his concentration levels, but so far I cant find any evidence. he didnt have many shots to deal with against Rochdale, but conceded two like today. Im not knocking the bloke, but he has no competition for his place.

Chin up chaps.
No shame in being out thought and beaten by the tactical genius that is CARLTON PALMER
I suggest your manager Mr Peters asks Sir Carlton for a few post match mangemnt tips

This is just a suggestion. My son reckons Luke could be a winger as he has the speed and the determination. Could he play on the wing and put Lowe up front?

Find it hard to pick positive from today. Think mr peters is still the man but what a huge task, although pleased to see him go gives you an insight to what quinn had to put up with or created.
I am preparing for the conferance next year, thought langmead had an excellent game again but some of theothers terrible. Agree i would drop luke, tolley needs to move on for his own sake. Tinson well to slow and poor ability, howie i just wish we had another keeper who could push him, saves penelities but goes day dreaming at times.
Challis cr@p, must have been a hell of a bang on the head he was stilll in chester, felt sorry for grant did not merit the stick he got, sedgemore poor, lowe what do you expect from the legend. not a winger!!! poor side, squad, and at times clueless.
Looking grim, do not think we can through the season depending on other result which we are doing at present.

Positives for the club? Muggins here. £14 entrance fee. £2.50 programme. £2.00 Golden gamble. Merry frigging Xmas!! That "performance" today has to rank amongst the worst that I have seen in God knows how many seasons. The only plus point was Lanngmead,at least he showed to be willing. Many people will slate Steet for the 2nd goal but why was he the last man at 5 feet tall in the "defence"?. The next time we get a bid for Tolley over £22, snap their hands off and the sooner we get rid of that Scouse bottler Lowe the better.
