Look's like Bonzo could be right lads - I'm sorry but after watching them today (left 15 mins early) I am absolutely sure that we are going down.
Not that I blame Gary Peter's for what is happening, nor can you take too much away from the players - I know they are giving their all. But at the end of the day, they are simply not good enough and it's time to get rid.
If you continually ****ed up at work and although your boss knew you were trying your best - do you really think he would keep you on?
PS - as for Jamie Tolley, for him to laugh at that bid was nothing short of farcical in itself. Rather than being derogatory, I actually think it was quite a generous offer considering how s**t he is.

have none of you been watching tolley lately? were you at chester? if you actually watched him thruout the game and stop slating EVERYTHING he does... i think you'll find he has inproved vastly under GP. They were all s**t today and to pick individuals to just plain silly

I think it's a culmination of 12 months poor form. Tolley had a promising future back in 2000, in the past 4 years he hasn't progressed which is sad for the club (because he could have been worth mega bucks) and sad for his own career.

i`m sorry but i have got to say, in 30years that was the most inept performance i have seen from a shrewsbury side, we were absolutely clueless, just hope that the board, peters, whatever look at the video of that match and think right this is as low as we go, if peters is the manager to take us forward the board has got to back him to the hilt and get us out of mess, as far as i can see £10,000 could buy tolley, sedge, lowe, rodgers tinson and challis, as for grant he go to bernies boys up the a5 as a freebie, sorry but very angry and disillusioned that is 4 points from 15 not good enough!!

Spot on with that Gra, Im in 100% agrreement with you there. As for Porky Shrew I was actually at Chester and Ok he looked one of the better players but 1 game in 30 is not enough. And as for the Town players cancelling their Christmas party, it was probably because most of them want to get leathered and cop off with some slags at Liquid instead.

How about a change of manager ?
Carlton Palmer is still only caretaker at mansfield. Why not try and snap this great footballing man up ?

Only been watching salop for 10 years or so and I've seen plenty worse performances... As for Tolley one of our better players today. He's not the biggest/ hardest of players to start off with, so he's always going to be playing second fiddle to the opposition when he gets paired with Sedgemore. If Street had been in the middle we may well have witnessed a very different game and a very different outcome.... Have to say the the last two games (I've seen) Tolley has begun to try and "stamp" himself on the game (if not his oppenents...)

I am very suprised that everyone is slating Jamie and no mention of sedge.
His midfield performance was dire. Headless chicken or what. Thats why Jamie didnt look good cos he cant run the midfield on his own.
Street should have been with Jamie not Sedge.
That said no one really performed for me except thought Stuart Whitehead had another good game at right back. He is one of the positives this season for sure.

I would have to agree with a post earlier in this thread that Jamie has come on leaps and bounds since GP's arrival, everyone was poor on saturday unfair to pick out an individual who probably covered more grass than any other player saturday

Totally agree with the posts from Festival Shrew onwards. Jamie stands out because he's big with blond hair, and also because he's home produced we expect more of him. Sedge was totally invisible on Saturday leaving Tolley to try and do two peoples' jobs.Jamie needs a "ratter"like O'Connor or Street alongside him to win the ball and play it to him. I can only assume that the reason that GP didn't sub Sedge was that he'd forgotten that he was on the pitch !
