It is matey, sounds s**te from the ShrewsWeb commentary. Got to get new blood in haven't we, some of em simply aint good enough. Time for the board to give the manager funds to get new players in...and quick!!

Do we have any money? What with all the pay offs I doubt we have much.
Mansfield, a club in turmoil, no away wins in 10 games...should have known what was going to happen.

Really can't see how we're going to get out of this - change the team seems to be the idea on here - I have to agree ....

players to offload, or to bring in?
not close enough to the action nowadays however, we seem to have too many defenders, and are carrying players in attack (grant, darby) who probably havent much of a future at the club from what i read.

Darby is on a grand a week I was told so he can go immediately. It's a grand a week we're losing. Then players who were good for the Conference but not for FL, i.e. Tinson, Challis, Sedgemore... Am I stupid to think that with Walton back the defence will be tighter? I hope not. And how about a central midfield playmaker, a la Liam Lawrence who had an awesome year for Mansfield last year. I'm sure there's similar to him in the higher leagues who doesn't get a game. Reshuffle now!

I was under the impression that Darby was on over £1500 a week, though I could (and hope and pray) be wrong.

If you want to resort to childish name calling do it elsewhere. This is an adults board.

Darby's wage is totally unjustified. He is injured now but he wasn't at the beggining of the season, and saying he was s**te then is a compliment. As for the Final goal, I thank him but you can't go by that forever.

Who would I rather have upfront?
John Grant or Duane Darby???
Its a tough call to be honest. I'd got for John Grant, came on and missed a few chances, but having said that he got into the positions to miss them....
Dont understand what the fasination with playing Sedge in midfield is? He's crap and he proved it again today, to lightweight, doesnt put his foot in, infact I'd say he is a poor mans dean Peer!
Luke and Langmead showing some promising glimpses...

I normally do not like to name and shame a player but DD was an excellent goal scorer 3 or 4 yrs ago at his peak hes not quite so sharp now or as agressive,John grant is i believe suffering a lack of confidence, lukey, well ferk knows whats up with his game, the rest of the team need a perk up or ferk off message and pretty quickly .

Not at all
As I said John Grant at least gets into the positions to miss chances....
Unfortunatly Duane Darby doesn't get into the positions to miss the chances.
Duane wins as much as Grant in the air (very little)
Duane is slower and covers less ground than Grant.
Duane has also be unfit for most if not all of his stay at Gay Meadow-fat lot of use a crocked striker is...
