Did seem a very odd situation there with Palmer bringing in players, his chances of keeping the job have got to be slim after he's transformed their season to poor from what it was. He's brought in player's too

"Meanwhile Carlton Palmer will continue to look after the interests of the team" WAHOOOOOOOOOOO! fantastic news!
What price Mansfield for relegation?
Palmer has to be right up there with bryan robson as the worst managers in the league.
Great for us tomorrow stroke today actually ;D

A pub league team would beat us this afternoon. Judging by the radio commentary the club should sell the video of the game as the cure to insomnia.

Well if you are Sir then you will be in the play offs at least as it looks increasingly unlikely that Carlton's Mansfield side will lose again this season

I am happy with Gary peters, what i'm not happy with is the teams peformance yesterday, but Gary Peters is doing the best he can with this bunch of players. Could you see Quinn doing any better yesterday? I don't think so.

I think tactically (against Mansfield who hadn't won in 12 Games) Brian Perry could have done better. I have managed local football teams for over 16 years and Peters tactics are there for all to see and easy to defend against. Even by Carlton Palmer. Enough said.
