Chapman has to start for me.....if keeping with genuine rotation.
Also seems the sort of game to suit Main.
Burton are on a great run under JFH but lost first one under him at weekend. Lets hope that blip continues.

It's great shame that SC can't sit down for a drink or two after this one as both he and Hasselbaink have a fair bit to toast and celebrate. I'm sure both would have given the other a huge pat on the back for the job they've done since taking over their respective clubs. Appreciate there is still some way to go but the turnaround at Town and Burton has been something else. As for the starting 11. Who knows. Always want Chapman to start. But would like to see Whalley start too. I guess Main gets the start this time around as its his turn.

norburn return was very welcome he and vela seem to have developed a good working relationship, i hope chapman and main start this time, it will be a tough game against a team who have been regalvanised, also a win keeps them a place below us and opens up a gap otherwise a loss and we are down to 18th( i know we have games in hand) but i preffer points on the table.

Sarkic has joined up with his international team mates so Burgoyne will be back. If it’s still too soon for Pierre the back five will be unchanged. Norburn and Vela in front and the other three is anybody’s guess.

Burgoyne
Daniels Pennington EEL Williams Ogbeta
Vela Norburn Goss
Chapman Main
Could make an argument for resting Norburn and playing Davis

On a side note about International call-ups, wasn't Norburn eligible for Grenada like Pierre?
They have a World Cup qualifier next week, I wonder if that's because he hasn't been called up or because of covid etc?

As long as we can keep the ball outside our penalty area we have a chance tomorrow night

I don’t think they have called up any UK based players for this break, but from a tweet this weekend they are still chasing Norburn and Ro Shaun Williams

As with all games till we get to 50 points I would take a draw right now, especially against teams below us.

It seems impossible to second guess the midfield these days but below is my guess.
Burgoyne
Williams Ebanks-Landell Pennington
Daniels Vela Norburn Ogbeta
Goss
Chapman Main
Gregory, Edwards, Udoh, Whalley, Davis, Pyke, Golbourne

We have 4 games in hand on 5 teams above us and 2 games in hand on 6 . 2 on 2 teams.
Add 6, 9, or 12 points to our total and the league looks different

an early goal, control the midfield and no silly mistakes with cchapman running at htem and shoting on site. it does not look as if fitness is an issue any more and coterrill and his backroom team and the players deserve some credit www.shropshirestar.com/sport/football/shrewsbury-town-fc/2021/03/22/shrewsbury-town-to-keep-up-the-hard-yards/"Aaron Wilbraham has backed Shrewsbury to maintain their relentless energy levels as Town prepare for a chaotic fixture schedule Wilbraham said: “Reece Burke, their centre-half who I played with at Bolton, came over at the end shaking his head saying ‘we struggled against you’ and it’s testament to the lads, how hard they work, how much pressure they put teams under. “No-one switches off, no-one doesn’t track a runner, everyone works hard for each other. You will always made it hard for teams like that and it’s good the league leaders are noticing. “Yes (they can carry on), I think they’ve done it since the manager took over, it’s something the manager instilled, the belief they have to run for each other, when they do that they’ve seen the results come, they will continue because it works.”

Give us some of that stuff you’re smoking please 😂😂 As Yoda might say: To be a Shrewsbury fan is to be an optimist. The greatest teacher, failure is. Have to say its not very often in my 40 odd years of following Town that I've been an optimist. The Fred Davies season, the Paul Hurst season. Cant think of many more times over those years where you think and hope we can compete. It's more often been realism at best, and outright pessimism most of the time hoping for a result (which often didnt come along). These last few months I'm heading back to being an optimist, hopefully we can build on that going through next season too.

Surely if you were not an optimist you would support a team more likely to be successful? But you keep coming back to STFC, mostly just being optimistic that this season we will achieve 50 points and stay up.

Add 6, 9, or 12 points to our total and the league looks different We are 13 points off the play-offs, our form guide for the last 6 is W1, D3, L2. To get into the play-offs we would be be needing to go on the type of run we are seeing Bolton go on (or dare I say it, Burton have just been on), winning 5 or 6 games in a row. I'm all for optimism and I've love it if you were right, I just can't see it, well i can't see us getting anywhere close to it to be honest.
