Does anyone remember going to watch town reserves in the football combination? The likes of spurs,arsenal,,Chelsea, just to mention a few were regular visitors to the meadow . And the football on view was of a very good standard. And sometimes if you were lucky you would spot a well known player coming back from injury.....Happy Days.
