I appreciate this is an INCREDIBLY minor quibble, but does anyone here know who has the authority to update the Shrewsbury Town badge that appears when you Google search for the club's fixtures and results? Even after all these years, Google is still using 'Clippy' as its official logo for us when it displays our league table, upcoming games etc.
I believe the club will need to do it themselves as the official owner of the Google My Business record, but just wondering if there was someone here who could raise it.
Every other club in the football world has taken pride in making sure the correct badge displays in Google.

2021 and that embarrassment of a badge still haunts us. The club have said in the past they've tried to get it changed but Google have taken no action. I've requested it be changed using the 'feedback' button at the bottom of the page of search results. Might be worth others doing likewise - they can't ignore us all!

You’re not alone, this really irritates me as well. Also, josh Daniels is called josh Tracey on google for some reason? |

I believe google has deleted Clippy. I'm just seeing the default grey shield now. As for Cummings, well he's still listed as a player....should be a down as a joker surely?

I suspect part of the issue is that, to the casual observer, the badges look the same. For Google, it's a case of 'what are you complaining about?' when it has been raised.

'Clippy' still persists on Google. Combined with this season's 'yellow' shirts, maybe we should just give in and let other organisations define our identity. It might save some cash…
The annoying thing is that Google goes to the trouble of detailing our ultimately meaningless pre-season friendlies against non-league clubs, but at the same time can't display the correct badge for us. Bonkers.

Reported in 2019 that other EFL clubs such as Bristol City, Hull City, Preston North End, Portsmouth, Stevenage, Brentford, Huddersfield Town, Oxford United have same outdated crests; but no PL clubs have issue. Salford City have no crest on show.
Maybe getting promoted to PL is answer as Brentford crest now looks correct.
