why do Shrewsbury go on about Chester and Wrexham all the time ? Both clubs really dont care about the Shrews to be blunt. There not derbys just local games, and theres a big difference !
Are the Shews really that isolated they need to adopt a derby ??

It's either Wrexham or Hereford/Telford in the last 30 years we have'nt played wither team on a regular basis-we have played Wrexham on a regular basis hence the rivialry. |

Am pretty sure last time i saw wrexham play at Fortress Gay they were passionate about beating us.
The atmosphere at A Shrewsbury V. Wrexham game is pretty awsome.
Shame the same cant be said for Chester, altho' in order to make an atmosphere you actually need supporters to cheer for your side, and unfortunatly for you, you are lacking in that department.

A club can only have one bitter rival, and its Chester Wrexham not the Shrews !

for us, it is always going to be or it atleast always has been wrexham- chester. so go on silly slops, leave the chester- wrexham derby alone. as far as we and wrexham are in existence this will be our derby, not shrewsbury.

Mate, You are a prick! That was my gut feeling when I saw your Avatar, and that was backed up after reading your stupid and idiotic post, In fact you should be embarrased. From what I have seen of you, this and last season, you are hardly anything to gloat about. You can say what you want but at the end of the day, we are still ahead of you in the league, and when we get it on the floor we are a half Decent side. And as for Tolley, when the bid was rejected I jumped for joy, He is a very average conference player at best! And as for our attendance, It has never been spectacular, but neither has yours  Unfortunately, we have many supposed fans who turn up for the Big Games, but so does every team. Sorry Real Shrewsbury fans, I didnt want to inflict that on you, but the guy who started this thread is a prick and had to be told. I wish you the very best for the remainder of the season  |

Go on then Jack , i'm intrigued. When exactly was the last time that CCFC got the ball on the deck, not this season and certainly not last year.
As for our attendances, for the quality of football we've seen for the last few years i'm amazed they've stayed so consisitant but check your details about the past. During our good years in Div 2 we punched well above our weight in crowd numbers something that your club as never done.

Why should attendances be important? Unfortunately, being a big city ( unlike you) close to Liverpool, Manchester etc., Many people choose to support Your Liverpools,Evertons, Utd's and Man City. The Only important thing is you are on youre way to the conference, and we are Above you! If we are crap and cant play football, what m,ust that make you? |

attendances are important, they sustain lower league clubs, when tv money and prize money is at a premium, but I guess when you are "bank rolled" by a chairman I guess you needn't worry about attendances, I mean telford didnt bother worrying....
Shrewsbury is within easy driving distance of Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester too...

According to 442 this season Sherewsbury claimed the mighty to be there rivals wanting to draw us in the cup elimniate us.
Sadly you need to learn to beat Non League teams like Histon.
Anyway i always thought you thought of Kidderminister Harriers as your arch rivals they certainley have something against you lot.
