It’s all part of the masterplan to be bowled out in 2 sessions, then get stuck into them under the lights 🤔

Terrible start, Crawley the only one who can come out with any credit. Anderson and Archer scoring more runs than Sibley....says it all really.
Just got to hope now with the ball in hand we can take some wickets tonight.

Bairstow is someone who’s become a much better player in everyone’s eyes by not playing. Hasn’t been reliable in test cricket for years. At least we dismissed Virat just before the close.

Dipped in and out of these Tests on C4 but is there no Test Match Special on the radio? This day/night test would be ideal for when I'm working but my radio retuned automatically to 5Live when I tried to find it on 5Live Extra.

TMS have had to resort to "Cricket Social" where they talk cricket while they watch the cricket on C4 then slot in a few bits like wickets etc

Win the TV, lose the radio ..... ah well. The beeb love tennis and snooker, pathetic. Hopefully the figures they get for online listeners to "cricket social" will help them realise their mistake. I haven't stooped as low as Talksport yet, I don't think I could face it and I don't want to sit down and watch cricket all day even though it is great to have it back.

The Root haters on this thread must be dazed and confused after that awe-inspiring display. In the absence of Shagger, I’d like to see Silverwood give Root the rock at the start of the India second innings.

Goodness me. Didn't see that coming.
England will have to bat well on that pitch in their 2nd innings though.

Awful shot from Sibley. 19/3.
Wasted a review too. Clearly hit the ball.

Archer b Patel 11. England all rounder? I think not. 94/7. Now 98/8. Jofra Archer is certainly not in the team for his batting that's for sure. Coming in at 8 ahead of Leach, no way. And as I type this another wicket falls 🙄 And another 😮

Archer is quite possibly the worst batter ever for England in Test cricket, he's even overrated are a tailie.
....and how he's been selected on these pitches over another spinner is beyond me.
