Well heaven forbid anyone should upset a United Fan or intentionally insult memories of Munich but isn,t this a bit over the top. football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,1563,1374768,00.html

This is ridiculous. I can see it if they were doing it deliberately to goad people, but its an innocent celebration.
How many goals will Exeter score anyway??

no disrespect to the people who died in the accident, but this just seems that some utd fans think the world resolves around them, how can a player celebrating wiv a airplane motion be anything to do wiv ther munich air disaster???
anyone remember the barnsley striker (when in prem) used to always celebrate like this.... cant remember anything then....

It is all very very very silly
Wasn't is Fjortoft at Swindon who celebrated every goal like that
I bet every Man Utd fan in the country hated Beckham when he scores for England and wheels away with his arms stretched out wide
Imagine, next they will ban players running because so many of our soldiers died in WW2 while running

Agreed, overly sensitive that.
It's one thing for opposing fans to do it with the sole intention of goading the United fans about their club's worst memory but for a goal celebration it's acceptable if that's what the players normally do.
I'd accept any celebration other than one of Terry Henry's pretentious bollock's. Very annoying.

Bloody Utd fans, any excuse for a whinge.
Henry's celebrations annoy me as well, but he suceeds in winding opposition fans and players up with them.

As a compromise, the Exeter players should imitate a jet aircraft.
The plane that crashed in Munich was propeller powered, so there could be no suggestion of disrespect.

if exeter score at old trafford, a fly by from the airline itself wouldn't go amiss it has nothing to do with munich whatsoever and should not be associated with it they'll be signing dennis bergkamp next

God knows what they would think if they had to play away at Lincoln.
