PRE MATCH DRINK AT SCARBORO

[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300]I have been informed by the Scarboro chap who has organised our morning game that we will all be going for a pre match drink to the TAP & SPILE. This is on Falsgrave and is no more than a 15 min walk to the ground.

P.S. I feel I should make clear here that this is a pre match drink before the afternnon fare, not our game in the morning.

That said, I'm sure Bizzy and one or two others from the mini bus contingent, won't let the small matter of an ASFC match get in the way of a date with a licenced establishment!!![/shadow][/glow]

You can get a great ginger cream tea at Rosedale Abbey cafe - trouble is, you'll have to allow enough time to get there and back onto the main road before the match - if anyone is staying over and has reached the age of slippers and pipe - it serves ginger scones, with ginger mamalade and CREAM! There again, the Tap and Spile does sound rather nice. Might see you there.

question is how far is the pub from where ASFC are playing? You know i'd watch but they've forecast Arctic winds up north for the weekend and i dont do cold very well
