If he goes anywhere it would have to be to a team better than us and to one where the ball won't go flying over his head every 10 seconds.
Seriously don't know why they bother having midfeilders, 5 defenders and 5 strickers would be more benificial for their style of play

Be interesting to see the reaction of Town fans to this, one or two have been having a pop at Tolley and his performances for a fair bit now...

No way - Tolley's just the player GP wants, and he's been excellent the games he's played for GP - getting in the box at Chester was excellent as was his tackling back.

Well I guess we'll soon find out Ade our kid. I guess it would depend on whether GP could look to bring in someone better with the funds from the transfer? No word on ShrewsWeb yet...

I'm going to cause some controversy here, let Chester have him, he always bottles out of challenges because he doesnt want to mess up his lovely haircut, and where do most people tend to see him on a Friday night? Not resting at home or going for a quiet meal from what I've heard.....

His performances since GP took over have given me increased optimism, and I hope he can really start to shine now.
But I wouldn't really be able to raise an argument against Schizo's view either.

I've been heartened by Tolley's improvement since Peters took over and hope he can continue that form

Three years ago we turned down £500k from Cardiff for Jamie. Now we're turning down £10k from Chester!!
Does that show how far we've sunk, how far Jamie's sunk, or that the football "money makes the world go round" bubble has well and truely burst?

Although not entirely sure that we turned down, or could ever have turned down 500K flat.

All 3. Although not entirely sure that we turned down, or could ever have turned down 500K flat. I think the offer was much lower and excited fans thought it was higher because we wanted to be a club that wasn't selling no matter the price. I thought the offer was about £150 - 200 000 with more depending on appearances. But I don't even know if there was a definite offer or just rumours.

Taking the p**s!!! They did this with fagin at Yeovil. Just posted on Chesters board having a pop at the chester chairman, suggesting its just a smokescreen to cover up their finacial problems. After all if you really want someone you bid decent money you think will be accepted, not a derogatry figure you know will be declined. They did this with fagin at Yeovil

Just as a matter of interest what do you think Tolley is worth these days? and while were at it what price would you put on Luke Rodgers now?

It is clear to see that Peters and David Moyes have worked closely together over the years. They share many of the same traits - traits that are subsequently passed onto their team.
It seems their ethos is: Hard work, Dedication, You only get out what you put in.
GP's a straight talking bloke who take no sh!t. I like him.
