Well I didn't expect us to be anywhere near the likes of Sunderland, Pompey etc. but likewise I didn't expect them to have us that far down. Don't know if you can get odds for a top half finish but I think we'd be worth a punt on that. More so if they have us down for relegation, odds might not be too bad for that.

Can you get odds on there being no proper relegation due to clubs going bust / points deductions for failing to pay their players?
Think weve got a good chance of finishing higher than last season due to those factors alone without any improvement in performance.

They have Charlton 3rd and Wigan 10th!
Two clubs in financial turmoil and the latter may not even start the season.

Would think at this stage total guesswork. No recent form to go on Nor have the squads been completed. It's nonsense but clubs that are likely to spend the most on wages and transfers will obviously be at the top, regardless of whether they can really afford it. I wouldn't bet on us to be champions or to be relegated though.

For those of us with longer memories we spent 10 years at our highest level defying the bookies. Bet they were glad when we were finally relegated like they had predicted for a decade.

It's a bit poor when Accrington are given a better chance of staying up than us!
