out of curiosity have you been to a town game since Ryan has been there ? I'm sure that there have been a couple at the MWM, but not many. Ryan Jervis is an absolute legend, and a very humble guy should you ever have the opportunity to speak to him at functions/events away from the ground

Been to many games when Ryan was the announcer, in fact pretty much all the games ive been too since 78/9 unless he was absent for any reason. The thread was intended to highlight what he was saying about the way the club is being run rather than about Ryan himself.

Been a good read those articles in the Shropshire Star.
Like me his first hero was Alf Wood. Not a staff member, used to get a bottle of whisky at xmas, but that stopped. The Brittania stadium lucky break. Called in for a coffee with our fine chairman The value of BC to the club.
He's the voice of Shrewsbury Town and long may he remain so.

Home matchdays would certainly not be the same without him. Though I dont remember us being that bad at the Brittania - perhaps Aldershot shaded the normal time but it was a pretty tight game with few chances. I remember Aldershot's penalty takers walking from the centre circle like they had lead in their boots - they were gone mentally and Scott Howie looked enormous in that goal. That shootout was one of the best Town memories ever because so much was riding on it.
