Blue and f***ing Amber shirts. What's the f*** is going on. Everyone knows that Shrewsbury plays in blue and white. They have done for 90 years. Never saw Rowley playing in a blue and amber shirt. Now the board have changed the colours. What about us supporters!!! I agree with RolandSalop and MalSalop that this is a diabolical liberty. They say if they ever get on the board of directors they will sort this out once and for all - but I can't ever see the Town board inviting a couple of trainee electricians to join them though.

Blue and amber was adopted after Tim Yates took over as Chairman. Because they are the Town colours ? No, because they were his horse racing colours.

And amber first came in in 1968 with the socks. Long established colours - which should not be disturbed.

Legend had it that Stanley Matthews always centred the ball with the lace at the top to reduce the pain felt by his centre forward. I started playing with the leather lace-up 'casey' and also with boots with leather nailed in studs. After a couple of games the leather wore away leaving four steel nail heads standing proud. Til the day he died my Dad had a scar on his shin in the shape of 16 nail heads

I can't wait to see the look on Wynnie's face when they rebuild the scoreboard box at New Meadow
It has been kept in cold storage under Iceland (the shop, not the country) for this time
