Ok, I not the NM's biggest fan I admit. But it going to happen-I don't want to go to soleless stadium when I know we as supporters had the opportunity to get a stadium to be proud of!
Here's my idea:
Form an independent supporters club or an sub-division of the existing supporters club to put pressure on the club to conceed to our needs/desires. I'm not suggesting we try and hold the club to ransom-far from it! This group will have only one purpose to try and improve the prospects for the NM being a success.
We need to build up a strong dialogue with the club and other bodies involved in order to clearly express our concerns over the move-surely we can reach some sort of comprimise?
A 'slightly' larger supporters bar (ie a bar where we can actually fit a few supporters) , SOME amber seating-were NOT Chester, were NOT Birmingham were SHREWSBURY we play in blue and AMBER-we played in blue shirts for years and looked like Birmingham City and above all some decent training/supporter facillities
We have to press the club to add better facillities before it is to late otherwise we will get a ground with poor facillities that will not attract much new support and business.
It strikes me that we are just aiming to move gorinds...then what???
Without proper facillities to attract support (and business) and without proper youth devlopment facillities what could be a dream could turn into a nightmare. We have to do all we can to recitfy this.
Who would be up for this?
