So do I have it right that permanent transfers need to be completed by the end of the day but loans can be arranged for some time after? So I gather we might not hear anything about Docherty today (other than he has headed off someplace else for a fee).

With Dochertys strong relationship with Caldwell got a good feeling it will come off as a loan today. With it being deadline day wouldn’t be surprised if Docherty is already in England too

So I gather we might not hear anything about Docherty today (other than he has headed off someplace else for a fee). I don't think so, there is some leeway in terms of getting paperwork completed but after the window closes it's emergency loans only in very specific circumstances, like not having a senior goalkeeper available.

Ramsey brings our loan quota up to five (O'Leary, Hart, Ramsey, McAleny, Lang).
Is Ricketts going down the Hurst route of having more loanees and having to leave some out of the matchday 18.

Much prefer Docherty to Middleton if Laurent goes! Its going to be a day for wheeling and dealing!

I'm hoping we don't lose anyone else an we get a couple more in. We're going to need those numbers.

If Beckles goes, and with Giles already gone, we'll be without Pierre and Norburn when Grenada play as we'll no longer be able to get games postponed.

We have no goalkeepers under contract in the summer so this makes sense. Have a look at him and then offer him a deal for next season if they like the look of him.

Okenabirhie gone for 75k. Seems a tad low but he is out of contract in 6 months and out of favour. I think he has been very poor this season too, Udoh seems a lot more effective when he comes on. Did show so much potential last year though. Potentially the worst deal ever if he scores the goal that keeps us out of the play-offs. Would have liked to see him go to a Div2 side for possibly our and definately his best interests. Don't think it's going to be him, or indeed any other team that keeps us out of the play-offs.

welcome to Shrewsbury town Harry Burgoyne "The 23-year-old goalkeeper joins Town from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a short-term contract until the end of the season. Harry began his career with Wolves at the age of 12 and has spent time out on loan with A.F.C Telford United, Falkirk and Barnet so far during his career." www.shrewsburytown.com/news/2020/january/harry-burgoyne-joins-town/

I would be pretty gutted if Omar left! Not just because he;s a decent versatile player, but because of what he brings to the club as a whole.

We need to get back what we paid for him...and Bolton cannot spend on transfers.....wonder if one of their players may come here...

Marcus Maddison has left Peterborough for Hull on loan. Makes a space but doesn't bring in money for a signing.

Now that Doc rumour has been resolved supposingly, will that be it for the Town in this window, or will there be a late late surprise in store, !!
