Wow !! England make the perfect start and put New Zealand on the back foot, an incredible performance by the whole team. some amazing tackles , superb tactically to stop the all blacks in the way they did with some phenominal defensive play. i lost track of the number of turn overs 19 - 7 . all the players will remember this for the rest of there career's. the All blacks have not lost in the world cup in 12 years looking to win there third succesive world cup where stoped in there tracks by an amazing England a win this which richly deserved. I thought Steve Hansen was very gracious in his post match interview . I think 'Wow' sums it up nicely. Has to be up there with the best performances we have ever seen from an England side. Not just that we won game the game but the manner in which we did it. We hardly gave them a look in. And the only points they managed was from an England error. Other than that they hardly laid a hand on us. Superb performance from start to finish. Just back from the pub now and the Kiwis we were sat along with were very gracious in defeat too; no question that the best team won...π

England are going to take some stopping in the final. That was a mighty performance to see off the All Blacks and in some style as well.

i have not seen the all blacks beaten very often and i have never seen any team stop them playing the way England did today, Wales will need to produce somthing special to beat a very tough South African team.

Really should have beaten them to zero too, as they hardly threatened and only scored because of that silly line out cock up. Would it have been a first for England to shut out the All Blacks?

Awesome performance from England, not just beating the Kiwis but also nullifying them from the word go. The game percentage in the English 22 was very low and they never looked in it, even when they scored the try they still couldn't out muscle England. The 2 players that stand out for me are Curry and Underhill, 2 young guys who out beasted the Aussies last week and same again today. Also good to see the humility of the team, when most would be wallowing in glory they calmly applauded the supporters, had their group chat, and shook hands with the opposition, hardly a sign of celebration as they know they have won nothing yet. Just hope this performance wasn't the peak of the tournament for them. Fortunately I am in Crete for the final so will be looking for a rugby loving Cretian to put the TV on.

New Zealand didn't have 1 penalty kick in the whole of the game. Says it all.

I noticed Adams top try scorer so far in the tournament said to a south African player "hope you win it" at the end of the game. It never ceases to amaze me 'the anyone to win but England'attitude of our united kingdom friends
Therefore should I adopt the glad you got beat attitude or should I have looked forward to beating the Welsh in the final.?!! Too late...lost again..π€

Whilst the result was disapointing somtimes games are won by fine margins, you are seven points behind and you have the chance to get points on the board or go for a scrum , a very gutsy choice which leveled the score. congratulations to S Africa. i wish England all the very best in the final

Wales don't have the strength in depth any more. losing Liam Williams in training was a massive blow. I know Halfpenny is very decent, but Williams has searing pace. He'd get into any team in the world.

If you are in a Welsh pub when either the World Cup or European Championship is on, they'll cheer for any country other than England even if Wales aren't even in the tournament. The roof nearly came off the pub when France scored against us late on once. As for Adams, he's an utter disgrace saying that. Worcester rescued him from the scrapheap after he was rejected by LLanelli. He's now dumped them to sign for Cardiff.

He'd get into any team in the world. That's the problem when you only have a small pool to call upon. I'm naturally disappointed, in fact gutted that we didn't make the final but we gave it our best shot and you can't ask for anymore than that. As for the final I hope that England do win it. The trophy has spent far too long in the southern hemisphere!

South Africa didn't impress me much today. I thought Wales could pinch it in the last 10 mins but not to be, they just ran out of players with North and Francis off injured in the first half. England will be clear favourites on Saturday so they'll have to cope with that pressure. As long as England don't try and beat South Africa at their own game I'm hopeful of the win.

If I played for a team that was beaten in a semi final, I think I might well say "hope you win it" to the team that had just beaten mine. That's simple sportsmanship. He's playing for his country, which is not England. In what sane universe does that make him an "utter disgrace"? Wind yer neck in, as my brother in law would say. Why should he want England to win at all? Just when I'd reached the point where I was admiring the sportsmanship and humility of the England team and actually wanting them to win, along come the snowflakey England supporters demanding that everyone in the home nations must support them. I'm back to not being bothered who wins now.

In response, Josh Adams is moving back to one of the Welsh regions to ensure that he can continue to play for Wales. I think he has been pretty grateful for his time at Worcester. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/47697638

Nearly Saturday! Any recommendations of where in Shrewsbury to watch the match? Good luck to Wales tomorrow, the All Black team looks better then the one that played England in my opinion!

Never really sure about third place play-offs but with that said, with the pressure off they can turn out to be good on the eye. Very open and free scoring this. And a nice reminder of just how well England did last week...as NZ are unstoppable today...
