Cory Hill has been sent home which leaves us with only 2 fit locks at the moment.

Big shock - Fiji 27-30 Uruguay
Uruguay players and coaches broke down into tears of joy and relief at the final whistle as Fiji miss a penalty in the last kick of the game.

Entertaining game at the moment on ITV4, Italy vs Canada.
Italy comfortably ahead at half time but Canada will rue a bad case of try line fever...

Enjoyed that, good to see the Canadians manage a try...well deserved for their effort. Now for England. Should be a formality this, right? Right? Come on England...

Canada are probably the worst team in tournament. NZ and SA should score three figures against them. England will have to play well today, this is the best USA team to play at a rwc.

Canada currently ranked 22nd in the world. I thought they deserved more, especially in the first half but sadly they had a bad case of white line fever. Some real golden opportunities put down and far too many handling errors.

I still think Ireland will run away with it at some point but Japan have been superb!! A really enjoyable game and they are really causing the Irish problems. Brilliant stuff. Come on Japan!!

Expected them to fade then too, but we know what happened. Go on Brave Blossoms!

Fingers crossed.

Nowt against Ireland, but I'd love the Japanese to turn them over. It would bring the game on leaps and bounds over there which is good for world rugby in general.

What a farce at the end, kicking it into touch when the clock was already past 40.

In my opinion Japan wanted it more than the overpaid Irish prima donnas.

Can't smile wide enough. Superb Japan from start to finish. Nothing undeserved, they were well worth their win. Ireland just didn't know what hit them. What a great start to a day of sport. Brilliant, just brilliant.👍

What a farce at the end, kicking it into touch when the clock was already past 40. Just waiting all second half for the Irish to kick into gear. Just never happened. That last kick summed it up.. 👍

This is what sport is all about. I jumped out of the chair at the end and shouted out loud. Even the dragon was shouting "come on Japan!"

I think I can claim those lads as my team, since I qualify to play for them four times over even by next year's rules

Great win for Japan and blows their pool wide open. I still think Ireland will qualify for the Qs, adds pressure to Scotland who need to win big against Samoa on Monday....
I might have to buy a Samoa top over the weekend 😉

Georgia getting it done against Uruguay (who are back down to earth with a bump after their win against Fiji). They're decent enough Georgia and I was surprised to see they are actually above Italy in the world rankings. You just wonder whether they'll ever get an invite to the six nations. Might help mind if they could start winning against Italy; unfortunately for Georgia on that front it's played two, lost two. Just clocked who's up next. Come on Wales...
