I think Lambert is going to finish second in that argument.

Did anyone listen to an Ipswich fan on 606 last night?
Unbelievable conversation with Chris Sutton regarding Mick McCarthy versus Paul Lambert. Not one mention of the slithering one btw

Not one mention of the slithering one btw Yeah, actually thought Sutton was a dick, wouldn't let him speak and I agreed wholeheartedly with the Ipswich fan. Living and working with many Ipswich fans without exception they're all approaching this season as a breath of fresh air, McCarthy was universally hated, and Ipswich were a zombie team, surviving season on season but playing terrible football. This season, even though they have spent very little money, offers them hope of better football and a bit of excitement so can't really blame them.

Ipswich's form has really dived recently, no win in their last 8 and 21st in the 8 game form table. Just as Lambert has signed a new four year contract.

Would love to see Ipswich fail to go up this season. Add them to Sunderland and Pompey who "are too big to be in L1"....

Hope our choir have thought up some suitable songs to entertain the Ipswich directors on their visit to the Meadow. Personally Im grateful to them for their financial contributions to town. They gave us a fair chunk of money without moving forward at all themselves. In fact they paid us for a Manager and two players and then went backwards so we shouldnt be too harsh.

I don’t envisage seeing their owner, Marcus Evans sipping cocktails with Roland and Brian - he spends most of his time abroad.

The only “big” club wouldn’t mind seeing go up is Coventry, think they deserve it. Love it if the others mentioned stay down.
