Do not think Mr. Rose is the sharpest tool in the box.

The problem for Danny Rose is that the point he is making is absolutely 100% spot on, and yet in saying it he has managed to make himself sound like an entitled moron.

I haven't seen the exact words he spoke or the precise context but, as it's been reported (which isn't necessarily entirely trustworthy), it isn't helpful and distracts from the far more important point he's making.
But this is not about how rich footballers are. It's about something far more important to the well being of society in this country and around the world.

And his other point missed out was that his manager at spurs got a more severe ban for speaking to a referee too much than countries whose matches continue to have racist chanting

Must admit I did chuckle at Danny Rose's comment, I don't think he's helped his cause although I'd be up for a night out with him....provided he's paying! Joking apart, he is making a serious point regarding racism in football which is totally unacceptable although I'm slightly surprised that he can't wait to walk away from the sport. There are undoubtedly racist idiots at matches within the English and British game however, from my experience they are a small minority and most fans are generally decent people or at least, not racist bigots. Danny has also had wide spread support from fellow players and the England management team and England supporters none of which excuses or mitigates the idiots however, the wider football community is supportive of him and other black players and condemns the behaviour of idiots at home and abroad. I haven't experienced any of the abuse that Danny has so clearly I don't know exactly the extent or frequency of it however, I still find his comment that he can't wait to walk away surprising...

I think I remember reading something previously about Danny Rose that he doesn't particularly 'love' the game. He's very good and gets paid very well but that's it - doesn't live for the game as many do.
So, I don't think his comments about walking away are all down to racism, just the way he feels about the game in general.

I'd like to think that most people are intelligent enough to ignore the frivolous remark and concentrate on the real issue. However, having lurked around various social media platforms, it seems he's not the only 'moron'.

If he hates the game so much and can’t wait to retire, then why doesn’t he do it now? What he’s expertienced is awful, but no one is stopping him retiring especially as money isn’t an issue.

Could maybe be that he doesn’t want to give in to mindless bigots of the type that we have our own small share of
