If the Police have anything to do with it as they surely will a 12midday Saturday or Sunday kick off looks likely. Makes sense when you look at who we are playing but not the same.

Says the game has been selected for broadcasting. So will be on the TV. Might be safer to stay at home with those maniac Stoke fans

And maybe another BBC round up programme like the last 2 rounds ? we get £50,000 for the international broadcast, so at least more cash coming in

True enough. But against that the bigger clubs will probably devalue the competition once more and play loads of youngsters. Come on Stoke you know you want to - your youngsters look like they could do with a bit of practice after the Vale game... Can't have it both ways though. Surely Stoke playing their youngsters against us would devalue the FA Cup too!? Not bothered if Stoke want to devalue the cup and play the youngsters. It happens with lots of teams, I don’t really agree that they should but if it gives us an advantage I will take it tbh.

International broadcast means available in all major territories outside the UK Live and multi angle footage so will be a full outside team broadcast with the amount of cameras/gantries similar to that of a UK Live game. It will also mean extended highlights on BBC.
Will be good for all STFC exiles abroad.

Our income from this season’s FA Cup, not including any gate receipts stand as follows:- Round I winners. £36000 Round 2 winners. £54000 Salford replay. TV £34500 Stoke. TV. £50000 Plus any extra from BBC for highlights.
So that will be upwards of £175k with the added incentive of a further £135k in prize money if we can be the Potters.

I would imagine the police will have a say in that especially after the events at Vale Park this week Is there also going to be some games to be picked for live "around the grounds" reports like we had in the last round, depending when that will be screened? No. The BBC only do that for rounds 1 and 2.
I didn't think they had done it before but just looking at the 3rd round KO times on the FA website it's hard to know whats going on. There are a group of games at 12.30 (incl live game on BT), another group at 3pm and another group at 17.30 (incl another live game on BT). On Sunday there are a number of games at 2pm (I presume that in the BBC final score thing + one of the games is live on BT) and 1 game at 4.30 live on BBC). Only 10 of the 32 ties are 3pm on Saturday!
Friday 4 January 2019
19:45 8 Tranmere / Southport VS Tottenham Hotspur (Live on BT Sport 2)
Saturday 5 January 2019
12:30 5 Sheffield Wednesday VS Luton Town 12:30 6 Manchester United VS Reading (Live on BT Sport 2) 12:30 18 Shrewsbury Town VS Stoke City 12:30 21 AFC Bournemouth VS Brighton & Hove Albion 12:30 22 West Ham United VS Birmingham City 12:30 24 Burnley VS Barnsley 12:30 29 West Bromwich Albion VS Wigan Athletic
15:00 1 Bolton Wanderers VS Walsall / Sunderland 15:00 3 Gillingham VS Cardiff City 15:00 4 Brentford VS Oxford United 15:00 7 Everton VS Lincoln City 15:00 11 Chelsea VS Nottingham Forest 15:00 13 Derby County VS Southampton 15:00 14 Accrington Stanley VS Ipswich Town
15:00 28 Fleetwood Town VS AFC Wimbledon 15:00 30 Middlesbrough VS Peterborough / Bradford C 15:00 32 Aston Villa VS Swansea City
17:30 10 Newcastle United VS Blackburn Rovers 17:30 12 Crystal Palace VS Grimsby Town 17:30 15 Bristol City VS Huddersfield Town 17:30 19 Solihull M / Blackpool VS Arsenal (Live on BT Sport 2) 17:30 27 Norwich City VS Portsmouth
Sunday 6 January 2019
14:00 2 Millwall VS Hull City 14:00 9 Preston North End VS Doncaster Rovers 14:00 17 Fulham VS Oldham Athletic AFC 14:00 20 Manchester City VS Rotherham United 14:00 23 Woking VS Watford (Live on BT Sport 2) 14:00 25 Queens Park Rangers VS Leeds United AFC 14:00 26 Sheffield United VS Barnet
16:30 16 Wrexham AFC / Newport C VS Leicester City (Live on BBC1)
Monday 7 January 2019
19:45 31 Wolverhampton Wanderers VS Liverpool (Live on BBC1)

That's a big local derby replay, Tranmere vs Southport with a home tie with Spurs for the winners. Good luck Mr Mellon.

Does he actually work on that service or just ride up and down on it pretending to be a ticket inspector? I expect it's something he is doing as part of a covert police investigation.

Well I think he inspects tickets and then wheels his trolley up and down the carriages, selling hot and cold drinks, chocolate, crisps etc.
