Q&A

I'll put up a longer post in the morning, but it was very insightful and a lot more open than I expected. Here are the main points:
* The players aren't at all keen on JQ playing * When he does, the management side of things becomes very unclear. As Jody put it 'Chic/Dave and JQ looked at each other in the dressing room on Sunday and each wanted the other to take charge' * Lee Bell wants to go back to Crewe. It's in the FA's hands at the moment
full marks to both of the lads.

Management need to sort this out, especially with so many experienced pros at the club. Leadership needs to be clear. *Cant blame Bell. Waste of a loan signing?

Yes, I forgot the Lee Bell thing. He's got a niggling injury, but the lads were scratching their heads about what was going on. He wants to go back but apparently can't because he's on a loan to the end of the year. Basically don't expect to see him in a Town shirt again. - I think.
Thought Darren's comment that Quinn was too tired to say anything at half time when he plays was priceless.

mmm. My point being , the assistant would normally call the shots, make adjustments initially. Then the (player)manager adds his bit.
0-0 at HT and things not clicking on the pitch, the players dont need to be seeing confusion between the management as well!!!!
Is Bells injury the only reason he isnt playing, and isnt likely to play then?

Sorry but I thought there was an awful lot of negative comments flying about that were completley uncalled for.
I'm starting to become very aware of a certain type of STFC supporter who seem only to concentrate on the bad things about this club, but sadly it seems it's some with the loudest voice. Alot of crap was spoken about Jimmy which was down right rude and cowardly as the bloke wasn't there to answer back- I would love to see Jimmy do the Q&A session and let's see how many would have the balls to ask him 'so Jimmy, ego trip or did you did what you did because you had no choice'.
Of course everyone is entitled to opinion but I left the meeting last night chuffed that both Jody and Tinno are very proud of the club.

Tinno asked for this blokes opinion on someone and his wife said "ooo don't ask him thats another one he doesn't like"
As a shrewsbury fan i think that we should support all the players and not neglect a chosen few.
If you have a season ticket can you go in that bar after matches, quite amazing in there.

I think some of the points were right, Quinn more than anything is an out and out goal scorer and he had a good run and that was it.
I think he has bottled the situation and decided in his own mind - far too soon - that Rodgers and Cramb won't cut it as a partnership. Instead we have the target man and long-ball obsession, which has changed the style from what it was pre-season - unjustifiably.
I'd say that to JQ's face no problem - in the Rowley bar or in the car park.
I notice he doesn't bother with the Q&A on Shrewsweb - perhaps he responds to criticism as well as RW. Great.

'Ask Jimmy' isn't worthwhile in my opinion as he had stated (or rather Ian has on here) that he won't answer questions about players, team selection etc
That doesn't leave too much else to ask him about really!

The great communicator eh? ;D Well here you go: What would your 3 tunes be for pre-match Jimmy? Do you feel that being a professional footballer has helped with the ladies over the years? Do you regret showers replacing the team bath, or are you the sort of man who can stand out in a crowd? What colour socks are you wearing Jimmy? If the Severn gets a little too high this winter Jimmy do you think the team should run out to "When the levee breaks" by Led Zeppelin? There's got to be a lot more....
