Absolutely no thank you from me. Wouldn't trust him long term one jot. It would be a resounding no from me too! But it's never going to happen, not in a month of Sunday's 😊

And booing according to the Ipswich forum. Allardyce's name being bantered about. Looks like Hurst is going to have to win the next one And next up is Birmingham away, who have only won 1 game themselves. But that was at League Leaders Leeds today. Meanwhile, the natives are getting restive. www.twtd.co.uk/forum/442157/judge-the-manager-after-10-games/#7I know some Blues fans - they reckon they're playing much better football than last season and should have won some of their 6 drawn games. They've only lost 2 - that's a tough game for Ipswich.

To true. Blues playing well. All this "Isn't it about time we forgot about Hurst thing" isn't really the issue here. We know what these two are up to. Deliberatly pushing for a 3 year deal and waiting for the pay off. They'll be back at Grimsby before March. It's Ipswich I have the problem with. So yeah. I really really want them to fail. It's called justice. Plus I get 7k if they go dowm.. .......

Upturn in grumblings around the office. I've overheard "he doesn't know his prefered team and too many chances" "where's the pressing game" "Not impressed with Nolan" "He's upset too many at the club"
I would chuckle loudly if it weren't for the state of our season. Lovely how it's all worked out! 🤨

Delighted to see Nolan grab a goal. Ipswich being two up the only bright spot in a drab day thus far.

As has been said previously, if you don’t like, avoid the thread! It’s not hard, I will and not post again after this but I just see it as a obsession with them The crux is, people are still mad about not being promoted which is a bit sad really. People just need to get over it and accept that we had a wonderful season but now, that's over. We are doing crap this season. Some people want to blame the manager and some want to take things out on Hurst which is a little sad and double standard. If people think he f***'d us over, take the moral highground and focus on your own team rather than looking like a bunch of petty little school girls. So he moved on to a different club, so did a few players. So he didn't get us promoted but my god gave us an unbelievable season. Get over it and stop being so mad.

I notice that we have no threads about Blackburn or Wigan! Probably due to the fact that both are having a good return to the championship. I'm sure it would be a different story if both, especially Blackburn were struggling.

That's all this thread is. Salt and a bit of jealousy. People only crying because we aren't winning. Last season was a huge disappointment in the end. For many of us older supporters it may have been the last time in our lifetime to see second tier football at the new ground. So if some of us are still cut up about it, it not flippin surprising. Younger supporters may see such a season again, however for supporters my age that is looking unlikely. So if I want to get a kick out of failure by PH then I will continue to do so. If you don't understand that then tough, just ignore this thread.

I'm sure it would be a different story if both, especially Blackburn were struggling. Maybe but at the end of the day the fact is that we and the club were treated very shabbily by someone who had spent his time here spouting out rubbish about integrity and saying what a great Chairman RW was to work with. Nothing can alter the fact that PH let us down at the last hurdle not because we weren't up to the job but because his mind was elsewhere. Had he told us the situation up front then fine he would have gone with a big thank you from me but he didn't so if I want to enjoy the fact that the grass isn't greener in the East of the country that's my prerogative. I avoid posts on here that don't interest me and I would suggest others do the same.

I'm sure it would be a different story if both, especially Blackburn were struggling. Of course they would, people would be saying 'oh they were lucky'. It's pathetic to belittle the lack of achievement from another club while your own is lacking. It is not very classy. If you get a kick out of knocking a guy who a bottom 4 team and turned them into getting to the play off final and then furthering his career ambitions then you need to get a life, it's absolutely pathetic. Imagine if Eddy Howe decided to up and leave for brighter things than Bournemouth after what he has done, I don't see him getting slated by the fans just because of his ambitions. Rotherham were better than us on the day, get over it.
