Haha, always next season lads. When your manager and all your best players have left.
First and last game today at Wembley for most of you I assume?

I wonder if a mouthy little prick that was one of the 124 that came to Ewood with Charlton this season. Woeful support I bet you didn't come. I bet you've never been out of London. I bet you still live with Mummy & Daddy aswell .......

Today really showed how we miss Abu and Junoir. As much as I like Omar he was getting skinned on his side to often and Bryn Morris cannot replace captain fantastic. The two legs against Charlton gave me hope but they are woeful and Rotherham are miles better.

and Gutted Rotherham deserved it on the day Better to lose like that than to some s**t refereeing decision or a freak deflection or something. Well done to Rotherham, they deserved to win today. For long spells of the game I thought it was very similar to the game where they beat us at the Meadow, where we simply didn't have enough creativity to cause them any problems.

The problem that town have at Wembley isn't too dissimilar to what England have at the World Cup. They don't get it right on the big stage.
Its a one off occasion at Wembley, Town have been better than Rotherham over the season but not for the 120 minutes today. In fact if it wasn't for Henderson it probably wouldn't have gone to extra time.
Town were better than against Lincoln but that wasn't saying much.

Don't think I could cope with another Wembley trip. But law of averages says we should win at some point!! But then then again this is Shrewsbury town!!!!!

That was basically my reason for not going after being to all previous four times. To travel round the Arse end of London and back up the M1 with that familiar feeling once again was the main reason for not going, at least heading back from GM I did get over it a bit quicker this time.

Have to say Rotherham played some excellent stuff yesterday. Going forward they always looked a threat. When we went to 1-1 I sensed we might crank it up a gear and go on to win, but that feeling only lasted about ten minutes and for the rest of the game it never really seemed like it was going to be our day.
There were no excuses, best team won and I am glad they did it by playing good football rather than a dodgy decision or a thug up front.
All the best to them next season.

it was a shame to end an almost perfect season like that
how would it compare to other sports ?
boxing we won the first 11 rounds and got sucker punched in the last
horse racing lengths ahead approaching the final hurdle and fell
golf match play all square going into the last and put a ball 2 inches from the hole only for opponent to chip in off the green
these things do happen sadly usually to us

Didn’t help that in those minutes after the equaliser when we had a bit of impetus, Carlton went down with the knee injury which the wind out of our sails at the only time Rotherham looked a bit vulnerable, gave them the chance to regroup and focus. Agree with you though, Rotherham were excellent in all honesty.
