Don’t like it. I don’t like the way the stripes ‘avoid’ the sponsor with a great blue rectangle round the sponsor.

Decent apart from the white bits. Should be blue or amber. Reminds me of that A-line kit which was naff

Blue and amber stripes, what's not to like. We have our colours. We have our identity. Like it.

I can’t help but think is it slightly risky changing the kit for such a big game, but I guess if Hursty wasn’t happy with it then it wouldn’t have happened. The shirt itself looks nice, just hope it has amber socks!

Changing kit for the final is bad juju To be honest Eric, I thought your post was a load of rubbish. Absolutely no logic to it whatsoever. But then I thought about footballers being a superstitious bunch and thought that maybe I'd do some checking before asking you to put some substance to your daft statement. After all, if you're thinking about it, you can guarantee the whispers have already started in the dressing room. Then I found this.... www.squawka.com/news/the-curse-of-the-kit-x-of-the-most-unlucky-football-shirts/621297#67u9rhux6rTSSHJR.97FFS Why, oh why, do we have to go and change stuff and risk putting daft superstitions into players' heads?

I like it especially the round collar. Stripes could of been wider but looks ok, not sure if its a good or bad thing changing for the final though. Guess it will ether get the blame or be a lucky kit, will have to wait and see which

Its either a set of pyjamas or the away strip for an Everton Kit. Still it may hold happy memories.

No comment on why the shirt last summer has been phased out after just one season, even though when announced it was supposed to last for two. Also that the current kit supplier only has the 2018/19 to go so likely we get another new Home kit next summer.
Three new home kits in three seasons - That's not really on.

Tis a strange one considering we've not changed sponsors either
By the by, speaking of which (sort of), has Hurst let it be known how he'll be decked out this Sunday? Do hope the suite has gone for a Burton.

Always seems to be one step forward and one back... Another new kit for no apparent reason without any discussion with fans.
Lame reason we've run out of stock after such a great season?? Order some more of the old stock simple.... Don't the club realise releasing a new shirt every year costs families who's kids want the current shirt extra whist the only reason the club do it is to make money out of fans....
What happened to changing home and away alternative years so each kit lasting 2 years?
This decision must have bee made months ago as we know how long it takes from design to them being available

The timing doesn't sit well with me! By trying to keep everything as normal as possible for an away game to then change the shirt when this season is built on the current home shirt worries me now! Just that in the programme, there will pictures of the current shirt and then we run out in a different shirt. Shouldn't be a factor, but that is what is now in my head! Another thought, and a silly one too, the players will be used to wearing the current shirt - I wonder by wearing something new for the first time, getting used to a round collar etc, may not be ideal. Probably nothing to worry about, but I do!! I'll ring my therapist now!

Im told the players hate the current shirts collar and wanted it changed, which is why its different design and PH helped choose this kit.... Still no actual reason for why its been changed after 1 season though. Whits was trying to make up an excuse last night

I’m trying to stay positive about it, at least we can say that we are unbeaten whilst playing in this kit. Let’s keep it that way.

More info on the kits including a third kit that's black with yellow that looks like Oxford / Cambridge combined!

With regards the kits themselves, I like all three. With regards timing, need for new kits etc, I can’t say I’m particularly overwhelmed.

My thoughts are this
Anyone who doesn't think this is excessive over three seasons for a small club like ours after a painfully expensive season is mad IMO.
2017/18 - New B and A Home Shirt 2017/18 - New Orange Away Shirt 2018/19 - New B and A Home Shirt (for no reason) 2018/19 - New 3rd Shirt (for no reason we didnt need it this year!) 2019/20 - New Home Shirt 2019/20 - New Away Shirt 2019/20 - New 3rd Shirt (probably)
Yes you dont have to buy them, but still feel like it cheapens us as a club to be doing this sort of thing.

Also
still absolutely no reason for changing the home shirt
and why we need a 3rd shirt considering we never had one last year and never needed to use one!
Again not the worst line up of kits, but just WHY?

Why any need for a 3rd strip? Also in the write up it mentions for the first time in our history we will wear a black kit. Actually I remember the black away kit from the 08/09 season. Distinctively remember us wearing it at Bury for the play off 2nd leg... and then again at Wembley the next game.
