as other have posted the combination of missing ogogo and godfrey will be a blow both contribute hugely to a defensive ability in nullifying threats and ogogo engine covering every blade of grass to help with the counter attack

Its football, you just have to get on with it. We have had to play over 3/4 of the season without our best player to injury. It was a huge blow, it was the main reason we started poorly and found ourselves playing catch-up. Dack arrived with an injury so it time for him to get fit and bed in.

It was a poor game, first half hour or so it was like watching two bottom of league 2 teams, we did pick up till the last ten minutes, when Northampton scored we were starting to take control. Second half was better, the ogogo sending off was justified, even if the long haired guy did say something you just can't react like that.

Strange as it’s up there as one of the best games I’ve experienced this season. A potion of high energy from both sides, a great atmosphere, the incidents towards the end of the game and our joyous equaliser. Nigh on perfect if Omar had just snuck that header in late on - never seems a dull moment at Northampton away games.

Sounded like a tough game last night for you lot. The loss of players must be a concern. Still lots of football to be played. I think you needed to be 4 points clear of us by the time we play Bradford, to take full advantage. We wont drop many points now, we haven't for months and months. Must win game on Sat for both you an Wigan. Who also need to win tonight. I can see Blackburn dropping quite a few points in the run in, 3 homes of which Bradford and Peterborough are tricky, we play them as well though. Then 6 aways and your trips to Bristol, Gillingham and Charlton will not be easy. We have 6 home 3 away so not as clear cut as you like to think.

It maybe possible you 'hope' and 'rely' that Blackburn will drop all these points. Because you are now reliant on us doing so, as its no longer in your hands. We all have hope. Doesn't make it reality. Last 6 games .... W W W W D W ....the one and only time we have 'dropped' points is vrs Wigan. We just simply aren't looking at anyones results praying. As we don't need to. We have only dropped points in about 3 games since before Xmas. You believe we will drop more in a few games than we have in 5/6 months. Your relying on a monumental collapse. What have you seen from recent results we are on the brink of such a collapse? You dropped points the other night, vrs Northampton. And lost your captain for 4 matches. And nobdy up here is expecting anything other than a win tomorrow. As its realistic. We fully expected to be 3rd by the time we played Bradford. And we fully expected to be more than 2 points behind. You will've have played 3 games of football without us playing once. That's quite a lot of football. To only be 2 points behind and a vastly superior GD will be a huge boost to us. But as you can see, we are already very confident. Plus our wins are normally by a 2/3 goal margin. All we will do is carry on concentrating on us, and winning games. Home or away its irrelevant.

I guess all I'm merley suggesting is, where can he see a complete collapse from? Cant be recent form. Cant be form from over the season? Current form would suggest its far more likely you will miss out. Not that anyone is Blackburn expects that or can 'see' it happening with any degree of certainty?

Great game BTW start to finish high pace and competitive I’ve seen some dull games over te years but wouldn’t say this one was. Others around seeed to agree on the night 👍 Perhaps you’ve been watching Mans**ty too much?

Some valid points made here. Based on BR form in the 2nd half of the season I can't see them dropping too many points. I think they're the favorites to go up right now. Wigan will also be 2nd favourites as even though they have to play more games they have the strength in depth to cope with it. For our little team if we get 3rd place at the end of the season then all things considered that'll be an incredible achievement. If we can win all our remaining games & one of the financial big boys slips up & we take the 2nd spot then this would be up there with some of the most incredible stories in the modern era of the game. If either Blackburn or Wigan fail to go up automatically then that'll be considered a failure as they both ( with their resources at hand) should've walked this division. theyve still got to earn that right & it only takes one incident to throw a curveball in your season & at this stage you haven't got much leeway if things do go south ( injuries & suspensions) . This will probably go down to the last game & it's whoever can hold their nerve the most who will come out on top. Good luck it's been enjoyable & emotional. Buy a ticket & enjoy the ride. Whoever goes up automatically this season will definitely have earned the right. Plenty of twists & turns to go. COYB
