Early on, after the 2 home games, most of us said Blackburn looked the stronger team. We said the same after playing both away in Dec/Jan, so no surprise It is looking like a real wobble for Wigan now Personally thought Wigan were the better (despite 4 points v them, 1 v Blackburn) but what do I know!

Depends on what you mean by better, I thought Blackburn were prepared to battle and mix it up.
Compared to them, Wigan were poor in that department.

Blackburn made some good signings in Jan and have hit form at the right time, I think the title will be theirs.
Let's hope that Wigans blip and cup run continue.

Tackles flying in, Wigan looking rattled.
Personally, think fair call for their second. 50/50 challenge - Byrne did just as much as Dack

Overall have been very impressed by the ref - some strong but fair challenges rightly let go (although he did miss the shove from the Blackburn cente half that could have resulted in a red).
There's some terrible facial hair on show in this game.

There's some terrible facial hair on show in this game. Can't really blame him for that being off the ball, but stuff like that shouldn't go unpunished.

An excellent result for the Town.
Mowbray is chewing a wasp - must surely now be drinking at the Last Chance Saloon?

Neither side impressed.
Hopefully Blackburn will defended that poorly a few more times, while Wigan's attitude continues to be poor.
We've just as much chance as these two and any other team at the moment.

Both teams have quality players. I thought it was a good advert for League 1, although both defences looked poor.

F**k off Mowbray! Owd Tony looks like he’s seen a ghost. If Blackburn miss out, he will be a ghost as far as management at this level goes.

Probably the best result for us, although I don't think any result could have been either that good or that bad for us. Nobody was going to get knocked back too much by any result today, including us.
The outcome could have been much better though - I was hoping for a more bad-tempered clash with some hefty tackles and a few red cards.

Unlikely. I can't see them both getting a draw.
Just shows how these freak results can take everyone by surprise ...

The result today was the best one for the Town. Unfortunately, I still think it's gonna be the play-offs for us.

But thousands boycott the home games in protest against the Venky's...or so we are led to believe What's happened to our usual posters from east Lancashire? They would have been crawling over this board had they won
