Wigan win is a good result for us both - gives them an additional game. They got lucky but put in some good effort so deserved their luck. Good God, you were up early this morning.Yes this is a good result for both of us on paper but I'd guess Wigan have a fair bit of depth in their squad and expect PC to keep them grounded.Still plenty of games left for a few twists and turns along the way and three into two doesn't go so almost inevitably one of us three will end up in the playoff lottery. It all adds to the excitement though and for most Salop fans it will be considered a good season whatever happens in the last few games.A great effort by Wigan last night as you say with that never say die attitude that we all love to see.Good luck to them in the next round. Wouldn't take Rotherham out of it yet, two of the current top three could well end up in the playoffs.

Wow, a few on here are ok. But what's with the obsessed ones with Rovers? When in your entire history have you ever thought you where our rivals? We don't know much about you? Why would we? You will know all about us, for very obvious reasons. This season is a very temporary one. Its embarrassing we ended up in a league with small clubs like Shrewsbury. But it will only be one season. Once we go up, we go back stronger. And we have assembled a good, young squad. You have had a good season up to now, no doubt, well done for staying in there. I do think you will miss out, Rotherham are much better than you, obviously we are. I just see you missing out, and the play-offs are a gamble. The time to faulter isn't now, and you are. No doubt about that. Good luck for the rest of the season, you have done well. And you've been a rival for a very small amount of time. Why some of you are so angry with us is beyond me? Sorry lads, it smacks of little club syndrome.

I don’t think the Blackburn poster realised we spent 10years in the 2nd tier old division 2 before the Premier League was formed. Which still makes my post valid, only ever being out of the top two divisions for 6 seasons since 1875. I think you may be wasting your time here pal. Lets just let the footy do the talking. I saw the ones who came giving it the big one before we stuffed them. Why hate us anyway? We come fill your ground and you get money. And coming to Ewood gives Shrews fans a chance to come to a proper football ground instead of Yeovil. They will be having the same argument with Sunderland fans this time next season.

.. from the Chicken Chokers.Their Bury match thread reveals that they expect to win 4 or 5-0 ,Bury will have 11 men behind the ball and will be time wasting.Other comments such as 'top by ten o'clock' and 'we're going up as champions'.Needless to say I'm hoping that the after match posts will have changed to 'Mowbray out', 'Bury were lucky' and ' e ref gave us no protection'.The old saying goes 'pride comes before a fall', let's hope it's true on this occasion.
which site are you going on btw? Try Roversmad ....your welcome to post the stuff you say bravely here, on that site. We have quite a few different fan boards, your clearly reading BRFC's which isn't an accurate view on how we as fans see things. Like here, you clearly have some decent level headed fans. Then yourself who is strangely obsessed with Rovers? May I ask why?

Sorry lads, it smacks of little club syndrome. Based on last six matches, you've have taken one more point than us. If we win tonight (big IF of course) we will have better form in our last six matches than you have. I'd say we're currently fairly even in 'faltering'. That said, if we lose tonight, I'd have to worry that it could be our decline. Thing is though, despite our sudden poor form at home (although against two in-form teams, one of which you lost to the game before us), we've won the last three away on the bounce, which shows the determination/grit/spirit of this side. Not really interested in the rivalry thing - if we were in a relegation scrap and posting about Blackburn then that would be odd - but for the time being you are our rivals as two points separate us in the league table.

fair points. I'm only here as its come to light your fans are talking a lot about our club and fans. I have no real opinion on you, why would I? I'm 41 I cant ever recall playing you many times tbh. In no way are you a rival, for more than 2 games this season. And one of those was a complete mis-match. Here and now this season, you have done well. But like it or not, put whatever positive stance (which I would do if I was sat in your position) your faultering. When a manager starts talking about other sides, blaming his small squad, injuries etc ....you just know the panic has set in. we aren't bothered about anyone else, as at this crucial time we have gone top. I'd much rather be top now, than spending most of the season there, and starting to faulter now. You have done really well, absolute no doubts. But injuries, good luck, playing in-form teams (like you did Sat) was always going to catch up with you. We knew you had to come to Ewood, and we know Wigan are too. And they will also get a hiding. It would be good to see you get over the line, but my feeling is you will just miss out. Good luck either way, it will be an interesting end to the season.
