Blackburn have 3 league games being televised on sky in the coming months, with the season we've been having I'm quite surprised we haven't been shown yet. Still think Bury have a chance of a upset tonight.

what are the bookies saying about tonight? I've put a tenner on a Blackburn win - if that doesn't ruin their chances of winning nothing will. Assuming they do win I do hope none of the usual Blackburn lot will be back on here. Hate it when fans post on opposition fan sites when they are doing well, then disappear like a shot when things go wrong.

Don't get why some choose on here stoke up all this anti Blackburn nonsense, or Wigan, Walsall etc. They're football fans just like us supporting their club, just like us. Put your keyboards away and get out more. This. I love the rivalry between fans but recently this board seems to contain a lot of whinging about what fans of other clubs should or shouldn't thinking. There's also a lot more pedantic sniping between Town fans, usually started by one or two tiresome individuals. Makes the place are less interesting and fun.

It's a wonder that they celebrate wins at this embarrassing level, should they not be hiding their faces at the shame of it all? I remember when they were division two stalwarts like we were, some of those crowing probably don't. Who cares though, I love Shrewsbury Town and not Blackburn Rovers. Could you enlighten me to when this was? We have only spent 6 seasons outside of the top two divisions in our history. Anyhow, continue your ranting and hatred for us as it is entertaining to read. Hi Mikey , I'm surprised you were the first fish in the pool to bite😉.I don't hate you , infact I think I like you from reading your posts on here.I do however find the sense of entitlement and the belittling of other clubs in this league (not just us) from a number of your fellow Rovers fans pretty irritating.Add to this being ambushed on leaving your ground on our last visit and stoned on the previous one and maybe you can understand me having a bit of a dig.As for Crocidura's post, I think he/she is referring to the ten years when we were in the old Second Division.I hope you will carry on posting on here as it's good to hear the opposition view (the sensible ones that is).

Pretty obvious what they mean, division 2 was 2nd in the football pyramid until the premier league was formed in 1992. If they had said league 2 then fair enough you've only spent 6 seasons in it or as it used to be called division 3.

Starting to sound like a Liverpool fan, history history Having threads keeping up to date with live scores of our league rivals is fine but constant threads about Blackburn is unnecessary, of course they expected to beat Bury at home, so would we!

Surprised myself actually. Was just clearing up facts. I do know there are one (probably only one of ours) that is obviously a troll and on the wind up. Ignore him. On the flip side, seeing as I read this board weekly, to then see yet another thread about us annoyed me somewhat. Do you see threads about you guys on our boards? Apparently we are wrong and arrogant to expect to beat the team that is second bottom when fighting for promotion. Which is all kinda of irionic when you read your very own Rotherham thread where you guys seemingly were entitled too. The OP also then claimed that when we lose, we blame the refs - which if you skirt down your forum - you were doing exactly the same thing against Rotherham again. I came here in peace, but some of your fans are embarassing.

I have already mentioned in other posts that if you get promoted, you more than deserve it. I will be the first to come here to congratulate you.

Least we agree on something. FFP is the least of our worries, fit and proper testing is at a much higher scale for me. We have billionaire owners (apparently) so you can kind of understand that as long as they service the debt etc...the Fl will be happy. Man UTD are also in huge amounts of debt but I dont hear you complaining about them. Difference being, our owners dont give a ****. You guys go on about the whole 1.3 million we spent in the summer but dont realise that our ownders sold off 30 mill worth of talent in the last two seasons.

You can only taunt the opposition in front of you. That's you for a short time.

I have no intention of getting into an argument as I like to see other, genuine fans on here but I must correct you on one thing- I am frequently to be found complaining about Man U and their debts!!! It drives me mad. Have to say also that at the moment (and I know they are both our rivals) I am enjoying the Wigan victory over Man City. For me it's just brilliant!

Wigan win is a good result for us both - gives them an additional game. They got lucky but put in some good effort so deserved their luck.

Good God, you were up early this morning.Yes this is a good result for both of us on paper but I'd guess Wigan have a fair bit of depth in their squad and expect PC to keep them grounded.Still plenty of games left for a few twists and turns along the way and three into two doesn't go so almost inevitably one of us three will end up in the playoff lottery. It all adds to the excitement though and for most Salop fans it will be considered a good season whatever happens in the last few games.A great effort by Wigan last night as you say with that never say die attitude that we all love to see.Good luck to them in the next round.

The irony of the thread title after reading some of the s**t on this board. It has become quite tiresome, and really hardly a thread worth reading....
I know some of the people, but if i was to guess the age of posters at the moment, i would put as primary age at most... I particularly dont care about how other teams are doing, as our destiny is in our own hands still. I dont care if KL8 continues to slag off our supporters whilst jerking his nob over how well plymouth sang, i dont care how arrogant you believe other fans are, when people here are already planning trips to Wembley (or not) despite us having a tricky game against an equally determined opposition yet to be played. Become quite childish to be honest....

Arguing with Blackburn fans is maybe a bit childish and I don’t see the point in it anymore . That games gone , they are a horrible club and I hope they rot - end of . KL8 is on here just to wind people up in my opinion . Posts very little about the football side of things . Which is the main reason for a forum .

Wigan have 6 of their next 9 games away from home. Plus I suspect they'll beat Southampton so that will be an extra game for them as well. Walsall game now needs rearranging.
