Can almost be guaranteed that Bexplorer will restart his thread on managerial form before the Portsmouth match.

We were excellent first half, unfortunately only had 1goal to show for our performance . Second half I think we tired , not surprising really. Henderson slipped and couldn't get across to save their goal . A bit soft really but it fired them up and they started to play well.as we dropped off. Probably needed to freshen up the midfield . Their second goal was very debatable , a toss up between whether Henderson the ball over the line and whether he was helped by a shove by one of their players . Either way it looks as if Donaster had the best of a poor decision but we shall see. I can see why they have gone however many games unbeaten , they looked decent second half and looked more likely to win . But .there again , they were not in it first half, completely outplayed but energy from two soft goals. Don't despair , we are still a very , very good side , the two new lads look lo be fine acquisitions and I'm sure we are going to challenge all the way to the line. I am proud of our lads tonight , well done Town . We may have difficult games to come but whatever I am confident we will be giving everything for the cause . COYB

Can almost be guaranteed that Bexplorer will restart his thread on managerial form before the Portsmouth match. I think we may improve and get promoted this season only after some changes in the way club is managed. Otherwise just impossible

Town well on top when we could play our pressing game, which we did for 50 minutes or so very well. Unfortunately without the pressing game we look very ordinary and today mainly due to tiredness we looked ordinary for much of the second half
Was puzzled Hurst didn’t make more of the subs - agree with a few others that fresh faces in the same positions would I think have been a better option than the changes that were made. If ever we are going to give fringe players 20-30 minutes today was the day

i expected town to tire and sometimes mental fatigue can cause errors. the first half we had an abundance of riches and should have been out of sight, Whalley probably had his most consistent period of crosses and corners .lost count of how many was just begging for someone to take a punt a head it. thought the new defenders did ok , lowe certanly has pace to burn and could be a big help to rodman . town worked hard and our pressing game really paid off
second half a combination of the keeper slipping it happens, physical and mental fatigue with some sloppy play , there goal fired them up a possibly controversial second goal , from were i sit i could not see what went on.if hursts substitutions went well we would all be singing his praises, as it is i felt rodman going off may have been a factor combined with fatigue were towns midfield looked stretched.
depending on the way you view things in the end you can either look at it, we got a point were we could have got nothing or when you are top finish team off and blew a win

Just seen the highlights on sky. Doesn’t look a foul and dean’s very far back in the goal. Obviously can’t see where the ball is compared to the line, but my gut says it was over, which was my opinion at the time too.

I dont think its fatigue or change of systems. We dont even need another striker.
In Septembet we played 7 games, won six and everything was OK.
In my opinion its management that has a bit of mental fatigue and a lack of ideas

From where I was sat which was pretty much level with it , it looked over. And to be fair , it didn't look a foul . 2 ridiculous goals to concede . We can't blame officials . We had the Sadler chance , rodman , totos header, all great chances . We could have done a Bristol rovers to them and rested some players second half . Instead we are left in 3rd and kicking ourself. Looking at the fixtures that remain , these type of games at home have to be won if we want promotion .

henderson is a big favourite of the fans and rightly so, i love his enthusiasm and goal celebration , he has pulled of so many good saves and personally it is a relief to have a confident keeper coming for crosses . one thing i had not noticed henderson not do before i await a chorus of he does this every game! was when we had a corner he came nearly up to the half way line why? if an observant doncaster player had been quick witted and lucky with a long ball so just as well that did not happen.

For goodness sake calm down , plenty of games left , transfer window open , was going to be hard after this week's games , we've not got money for big squads like Wigan or Blackburn so to be where we are is amazing. One game at a time football fans are fickle happy amazing when things are going well , moaning awful when it isn't.
Whatever happens this season it's been amazing just enjoy it

The midfield needed fresh legs, not the back four. Bryn Morriswould have given us the chance to get the ball to MORRIS or our wingers. Both Beccles andToto were guilty of giving away possession cheaply and the change of formation just invited pressure. Although Whalley had a far better game than of late, he is SO exasperating, two or three times in the second half we broke quickly but he went on a weaving run but refused to look up and spot the easy pass to a man in space, and ended up losing possession - much as Marvin Morgan used to do.

Decent performance, should've won it in the first half. Fair play to them though, Darren Ferguson must've given them a roasting at half-time and they responded well. They are a good in-form side and we made them look poor for 45 minutes.
I didn't feel the ball was over the line until Henderson got nudged and was surprised we didn't make a big deal of it. Imagine if that was The Premiership! A touch of naivety on his part maybe, he should've gone down like a sack of spuds as soon as he was touched!
The two new guys seemed to fit in seamlessly and had good games.
A good point and PH was spot on in the interview when he said 'It'll suit us if they all think we're on the slide.'

Thought we were excellent for the first 50 mins. Knocked it around really well and carried a real threat. Much more than in many other recent games.
Donny also played their part in a decent game, were neat & tidy in possession and Marquis their no. 9 looked a player.
However after we got the second we visibly seemed to tire in the middle of the park (understandably after recent efforts) and it was a real surprise that Bryn Morris wasn’t brought on to inject some fresh legs.
Ultimately though we had to settle for a draw because of poor goalkeeping. Henderson has been and will continue to be excellent for us, but today was just one of those days.
Many other positives on our performance. Both full backs were good, Sadler was at his usual consistent lay high level and Carlton Morris worked as hard as ever but also carried a real goal threat.
We go again!!

i know it is understandable that with such an amazing season our expectations will be raised but last season we would be grateful to get a draw. sometimes things dont always go for any teams , we are third we have seen some stunning performances, we are competing against teams with deep pockets one team has spent over half a million pounds in January alone !! we are holding our own something unimaginable last season. i wanted us to field our best team against west ham and was the impact of playing extra time was one factor in today's game .

Feels like a defeat, with Blackburn and Wigan both winning on the road today it’s results like this that make the difference between automatic promotion or play offs, hope Hursty makes wholesale changes for Tuesday night, I’m sure he can still put out a side capable of beating Oldham.

Impossible to criticise Henderson too much. He's been awesome this season and the error for the 2nd goal was just one of those things, when a simple punch clear would have cleared the danger.
I'm genuinely not trying to be pessimistic, and neither do I consider this to be unduly negative, but I genuinely think that both Wigan and Blackburn will motor ahead and wrap up the top two places. That's hardly surprising given their budgets and the quality of many of their players. That said, this team will surely make the play offs barring a major collapse, and I thought first half today we were superb. Rodman, Sadler and Nsiala will all rue misses when we really should have been out of sight. Just one of those days today - Rovers doubtless delighted with a point at the end of that but plenty of positives for us. Whalley looked like he had more confidence and ran much better with the ball than he has recently, Lowe looked excellent, particularly going forward, Abu was immense in the middle and nice to see Morris get a goal. Take nothing away from Donny, who battled well, but on another day, with better finishing and a little more luck, we'd be sitting here lauding a superb performance and a comfortable three points.
I wish we could get Tuesday out of the way. Still not sure if I'm excited about the Checkatrade or whether I would just prefer it to get lost, but next Saturday is a big game given Pompey's spot just outside the play offs.

Not sure why PH didn't take Beckles off against Blackburn last week as they had clearly identified him as a weakness at LB.
Not sure why PH brought Beckles on today. We were still 2-1 up but changing to a back 5 brought all the pressure onto us.
