according to BBC1 town had 61% of the possession ,we had more shots and more corners , the only thing Fleetwood did more than town was fouls !! clearly we were not trying hard enough ! amazed there keeper was not booked for time wasting.

Much more satisfying win than against Bristol Rovers. Today was like playing against a Graham Westley side with all the spoiling tactics. Always great to beat teams like that.

Rosler must be living on planet Zog the daft t**t . They came to frustrate . How long does it take to take a throw in? Surely when the ref. booked their player for time wasting the throw in should revert to us? I don't know, still , it summed up their approach to the game . They returned to Fleetwood with a well deserved f.ck all. Must say Toto was absolutely superb , my MOM . A great result against a very negative side , maybe our performance against Brizzle frightened the sh.te out of them . COYB

10 points clear of 3rd spot with a superior goal difference (when have Town ever had a 'superior' goal difference)?! No no no no no. No! The King of the non sequitur We have a superior goal difference *because* of our fine record. Under what scenario would you envisage us losing three on the spin and the likes of Bradford winning three and our goal differences not being comparable? Our goal difference is highly mediocre considering our W-D-L record. I will not let individuals who would fail a basic verbal reasoning test spoil this very very very special season we find ourselves in. Consider yourself warned, do not ruin this for everyone else.

Another impressive victory. Completely different to tuesday night but more satisfying. Fleetwood were completely negative, time wasting from the very first throw in. For one of last years play off teams to come here and set up like that says a lot about how far we have come and the way we are currently playing.
It's been a very satisfying week! Thanks Mr Hurst.
Back to work on monday with another broad smile!

Fleetwood should be ashamed. Yellow card for timewasting on 39 minutes at 0-0?!!!
What kind of football is that?

Think they had two players booked for time wasting at throw ins and could have had a few more, yet I found it baffling when Rosler went crazy at the ref after one of those time wasting bookings!

That is the first time this season that Fleetwood have not scored.

Their house of a goalkeeper should have entered the book after 20 minutes. Booking their two inconsequential full-backs was a token gesture from a referee who was wise to their gamesmanship.

Tunnel bears works for me but I also have a sister in Europe who signed up using her foreign bank account. Been worth every penny this season. Can you do it match by match on a debt card? I don't know. Think the account has to be non UK based sadly.

If the ref was wise to their s**t- house tricks, he would have done better and sent one of them off. At least two of them were serial offenders. The goalie should have gone for being a complete bell- end. And that foktard manager, he should have gone for encroaching onto the pitch and his general behaviour. I flipin hate Fleetwood. Don't know why, just do.

Fleetwood got exactly what they deserved, **** all. They’re not a side facing relegation or such, they finished in the playoffs last season and are probably aiming for the same this season, so why they’d be so incredibly negative and waste time as early as 15-20 minutes is beyond me.
As for us, fair play, not our most exciting attacking performance but we had to deal with a flat back five and men behind the ball, and the conditions, we didn’t give up and although it wasn’t prett at times, there was only one team who deserved to take anything from the game today.
We’ve seen many teams come here in League Two and do exactly what Fleetwood did today, never seem it in League One though, justice was done.

So satisfying to beat these cynical timewasters with a late, late goal.
Fleetwood's tactics deserve nothing but contempt.

Grant was a decent player for us and very popular with the fans but when you saw him come on today and try and ply his trade against the likes of Jon Nolan you realised how things have changed.

Rosler deserves more respect . Few have snatched another season in l1 instead of promotion like he has in recent times. Prost!

Rosler is just like Adams: another manager who can't face the facts. Has he been attending the same charm school as Steve Evans?
Fleetwood didn't muster one effort on goal in the entire game and had just 39% of the possession. He's talking out of his fundament if he thinks his side deserved a draw.

Guess he would have been better to have been more like PH and not make claims before a match as to what your team may achieve. Better to just let the players on the pitch do the talking.

compare our performance to fleetwoods last season and this game then look at the way they set up there team.last season they contained us and ought thought us , i dont believe we have beaten them before. as other have mentioned this team really care they play for each other look at how the loan players react to a win it says something about what hurst and his team have instilled in to his players and the way they approach a game. it reminds me of when jackie charlton managed Ireland and the way they played for each other . we have scored goals towards the end of games beacuase we are fitter and we dont stop trying . not an exact quote but in the star Hurst roughly said anyone who unperformed knows there are others in the wings who can take there place that is the other thing that is different in past seasons we might have one or two players who could come on and make a difference now we have have a bench full !! which considering Hurst has turned it around in a year says a lot about his eye for a player ( living the Dream DONT wake me up)

A decent team no doubt with superb players, but something about the spirit and work ethic just gelled in all the right places and meant that the whole was somehow greater than the sum of its constituent parts. I still expect to wake up and find that we're back in 18th as still can't quite believe it. However, with our points on the board and even factoring a significantly reduced points return over the next 31 games I would be astonished if we didn't make top six. As for 2nd, behind inevitable champions Wigan, who knows.

Steve Evans went to charm school Seriously it's strange how opinions differ isn't it. Some posters think Rosier deserved respect but for me, from block 2, he came over as a spoilt child having a tantrum every time decisions went against him. It was interesting to watch PH while the referee was remonstrating with Rosier - he just stood there, calmly watching and seemed a bit bemused by it all. I know which manager I prefer. Even when PH was sent off last season, he just went and afterwards it on the chin.

From Wigan" "Shrewsbury scored a last minute goal and looking like another 1-0 scratchy win to take them back to the top of the league." Keep scratching that itch Wigan... keep scratching. It ain't going away! Another scratchy win, like the 4-0 on Tuesday night? And we were top of the league going into the game... Sour grapes with a side order of total b******s. Well done sir!

He said he or Doigy had a quiet word with the 4th official that they weren't going to speed things up in injury time just because Fleetwood wanted to get back in the game - after what had happened for the previous 90. Great stuff.

seen the match highlight and watching it on TV just confirms what a great header that was by Toto . also all efforts on goal shown were of town on Fleetwood not one attack by Fleetwood was shown( there were not that many) but they usually show something so that tells you all you need to know.

Did no-one see the ref mark a line with his spray can, ten yards inside the Fleetwood half, and then tell them they were not to go any further forward than the line?
