Jeez Fred, this obsession ain't doing you any good owd lad. Its hard work and a lot of posts disagreeing with 90% of B&A (but not an obsession) Who are members of Leutwiler fan club, even though I am right, as can be seen by Hurst's transfer activity. Makes a change Ant for you to jump off the fence for once although you have carefully chosen the field of sheep!

I believe that JL's decline in form has also come about since it seems that Hurst has tried to change his game by wanting him to collect crosses instead of punching.
Of course as we know, JL is Swiss and punching is the favoured continental way of dealing with crosses. In fact all around the world it tends to be the favoured way of dealing with crosses.
But of course Paul Hurst is British, and we know that the British way of playing is far superior to the rest of the world.
That is why we have won the World Cup and the European Nations cup so many times.

Makes a change Ant for you to jump off the fence for once although you have carefully chosen the field of sheep! Of course it's an obsession. It carries all the hallmarks of an obsession and a strange and disturbingly unpleasant one. It dominates all your posts on football. Even when it seems that Jayson may be on his way, you still do not have a single decent word for a keeper who has made some phenomenal stops for us, has gleaned us many points and clearly loves playing for Shrewsbury Town. Your "Margate Reserves" comment sums up your deep dislike and disdain for Jayson. Not only do you want him to leave, but you clearly don't want him to do well when he does so. In fact, the more he fails, the happier you will be. Ant is right: your relentless obsession is doing you no favours. Obviously I only speak for myself, but I find it perhaps the most unpleasant, predictable and odious component of the B&A message board. You have introduced a farm analogy in saying that Ant has joined the sheep. So I will use one too. If you walk like a duck and quack like a duck... you're a duck. So as your posts on JL are so endlessly, relentlessly, bitter and unpleasant, I can only deduce that you are a very bitter and unpleasant man. To want to see another keeper between the sticks is one thing and I am happy for you to do that even if I may disagree; but to want to see a loyal and proud Town player fail in the rest of his career, be a bench-warmer or a reserve at best, and so somehow glorify your judgement in order that we will all bow down before it, has a special level all on its own. And it's not in the high blue sky, it's deep down in the farmyard mud.

I must say the amount of criticism of Jayson last season was a complete mystery to me. There is little doubt the Grimsby injury affected his confidence but not enough to justify a lot of what has been said. He was still a League one keeper. Its almost as if we have to have a pantomime villain. Matt Sadler took on the role for a season but then came good so someone had to take his place. It will be interesting to see who takes on the part this season. Curtain up 3pm.

So in the hall of Leutwiler's achievements.
Swiss International. 2014-2015 Season - Most clean sheets in all of Europe. 2014-2015 Season - Promotion and an integral part of that team
Yeah the guy is clearly a Margate reserve standard player...

Not knocking your point because I agree with you and am a big Leutwiler fan, he has made multiple miraculous saves. Personally I dont attach too much importance to the Grimsby injury even. But I don't even think he had the most clean sheets in the division in the 2014-2015 season, it was the guy from Plymouth wasn't it? Earlier on in the season in like, January he had the most clean sheets in Europe.

For me the best keeper we have had in a decade. But the addition of two new keepers, particularly Henderson, points to a iminante departure.
Let's hope RW does his magic and gets a good deal

If that game was Leeds away in the League Cup then Weale deserved some criticism. He was very poor that day.
