fitting into the mould of player I'm expecting Hurst to be after - young players who want to develop, are hungry to do well hopefully and determined to work hard - compared to 30+ old players who if they sign for us is there 7/8 club.

If this is true, it's a really exciting signing. Also, as he's young and a bit raw, he won't get his yed chewed off if he makes the odd Miss Take. All I want at Salop is 100% triers, so this young man seems to fit the bill.
Good move for you if you decide to come, Zak.

Free transfer from Reading (apparently) A lot to prove but an impressive signing if it's true Left footer. Same as sad's? What foot is Toto? Got to be good bye now to Lancashire, el ab and mcgivern

toto plays on the right of defence. Competition / options on left hand side of defence. I think i read somewhere he can play full back too.

I was expecting this to be a loan signing when I saw it, many times we've loaned young lads who are 'highly rated' by their parent clubs, sometimes it turns out well but many times it doesn't.
The fact this is a permanent deal and that he has chosen us for first team football excite me.

similarities to Connor Goldson deciding to stay with us to play first team football rather than U23s football.

Good to see the promising youngsters signing but very quiet on the outgoing side of things. Hope we aren't going to have the experienced players who are not part of Hursts plans hanging about content to pay a bit part and see out the remaining year on their contracts. Obviously perfectly entitled to do so but would be good to have some big salaries released to aid the signing of new players.

Someone needs to go up to Sundorne Castle and tell El-Abd to **** off. Any takers?

Certainly the end of McGivern.
Sadler and this guy are both left sided.

If this is confirmed will be a real coup and statement from the club, the worst chairman/owner in the league yet again letting us all down by wasting money on championship players instead of toilet seats.

All I have to do is brush past him and he'll hit the deck giving me the chance to inform him and wander off to safety.

All I have to do is brush past him and he'll hit the deck giving me the chance to inform him and wander off to safety. You should be safe. He'd have to catch you to hurt you, and with the turning speed of an oil tanker and the acceleration of a Galapagos tortoise I doubt there's much danger of El Abd doing that.

I like the fact that so far all of our signgings look big and strong.
I think in recent seasons our squad has been guilty of not having enough physical prescence and power.

Motherwell fan just thought I would provide some commentary on Jules for you. He joined as we were struggling in the league, losing goals for fun. He steadied the ship dramatically with his quick thinking and power. Look at the number of goals we lost after he came in. Scored one or two as well. Always looked dangerous. Absolutely gutted to have lost him. Best of luck Zak.

It would be very strange if Dean Henderson were to follow us on Twitter but then not sign, with this also not being confirmed yet I think we might be in for a busy week of news next week.

Yep, seems like Henderson and Jules are likely and heard we're interested in Craig MacGillivrey another keeper released by Walsall (sorry if it's been mentioned elsewhere) which would mean most of the squad are keepers! Also linked to a youngster from Norwich, not sure if loan or perm. Expecting a busy week either way, hope some are leaving too.

Not mine. The magnificent Blue Brazil at Cowdenbeath who ply their trade at Central Park are my favourites. People talk about Henry Blow Felt's ability to roll the tongue around the English language. You've heard **** hall until you've visited Central Park.
It's the fust time I've heard locals ask a visitor to moderate their swearing. Unfortunately, the dragon told them to "fuc.....
