What a great day. My first trip to the millenium stadium. A fantastic stadium and a great atmosphere. Not the best of matches, and the result was awfull.
One thing though. It was great to see Wigan and St Helens fans (massive, massive rivals!) side by side on the train, in the pubs on the streets etc. Even in the ground there was little segregation and pockets of wigan fans in the Saints end and vice versa. Great day. Well done Saints.
Heres to a better day tomorrow though!!

Excellent, wish i was there. My brother went in 2002 when we beat the saints, shame it couldn't happen again today.
I've always thought that rugby fans are nearly always better behaved as a majority than football fans.
I think the millenium stadium looks better on tv than it does in real life, but maybe thats just cos when i was there there were only 10,000 people in it.

It was packed today and it was fantastic. But give me the Shrews at the Britannia anyday. Rugby fan are amazing, especially as many support local football teams, but still there is no trouble at all.

When he retires Andy Farrell deserves an OBE/MBE or something. the guy is a legend already and he is still fairly young.
I used to have resepct for Saun Long, but now he's grown his hair to look like Beckham i have lost a lot of it.

He deserved the man of the match award, but shouldn't have been playing after his betting thing.
Sounded a cracking game pete. I will be there next time no worries.

Long deserved at least an immediate 1 year ban after that fiasco, if it had been football he would have got a much more severe punishment.
