I'm pleased it's Juan of our own and not a loan player. (That's not meaning any a fence to any loan player who scored a shed load of goals for us).

Excellent work ethic and attitude and thoroughly deserved. Has improved in use of the ball too. Congratulations

One of those players whose contribution is noticed as much when he doesn't play, than when he does.

Ive not been to many games this season for family reasons, but in the games ive been too, Abu has been our most consistent performer. For a player who when he arrived here wasn't particularly rated by alot of people to get player and players player of the year speaks volumes for the hard work he has put in. Would rather him in our side than playing against us. MM made a mistake taking him off on Saturday rather than Black.

I actually voted for someone who won. That doesn't happen very often

Well done Abu. Totally deserved and more importantly a big reason we will be playing L1 football next season.
Was also my vote too

Surely he is now worthy of his own song?
I think this suggestion was mooted at the time he signed but now deserves a new push in the light of his double award. It's easy to remember, has very few syllables (an apparent must for any STFC song these days) and has a catchy tune to boot: "Abu Ogogo" to the tune of Einstein A Go-Go by 80s' one-hit wonders Landscape.

Has turned out to be a very astute signing. I think he can get even better.
Any other potential league 2 gems that we could sign?

Surely his name lends itself to the Wham classic?
