How about Steve Cotterill? Has a decent record at this level and I believe is currently available (though would prefer Mellon to stay). Would LOVE to have him here, but, as stated above we are simply not an attractive L1 proposition. Think we can rule out anyone in employment at present so will be some available and cheap....someone like Graham Alexander. Perhaps we could register him as player - At least he takes a good penalty. I nominate Clive as manager

If / when Micky Mellon leaves Roland will be appointing Mike Jackson as manager. He believes he is ready to step up for a second chance when the opportunity comes!

MM's speech at the end of the POTY awards the other night didn't sound as if it was from a man who is leaving us anytime soon...

At League 1, we aren't a particularly attractive proposition. Appointing Holloway would mean about 10% of turnover going on manager wages He wasn't on that much at Blackpool, they made up his wages through percentage of transfer sales to boost it up. Basic 200k at the lowest. 750k when In the prem.

The chairman AND the fans need to do everything they can to secure mellons service for the foreseeable future....the reason is not better demonstrated than this thread..
