Sorry to be a bit of a bore, but..... How will Conference history be re-written? STFC won't be the first side to bounce straight back (Lincoln & Darlington did that), they're not the first ex-league team to win the play-offs (Doncaster were). The only thing I can think is the only ex-league team to go straight back up via the play-offs, which is a bit conveluted to say the least. Is there another thing that I have missed? www.shropshirestar.com/sport/football/publish/article_17406.shtml

First shropshire team to gain promotion? ? Now, that is right, isn't it? I mean, despite having more cracks at it than anyone, am I right in thinking that Telford haven't yet gained promotion?

Technically, yes, but thats not breaking a conference record, is it?
I'm not being funny, but I can't work out what it is.
Maybe, biggest attendence for a play-off final? Although it will only be the second final, so not exactly a lot of history to compare with??
Its a mystery to me

There's FA Trophy finals with attenances in the 30,000's!
The Star seem quite adamant, I think it must be attendance for a Conference play-off final.
