Running rings round the baggies again, what would we give to have his energy and enthusiasm again

West Brom look woeful. Fletcher looks the only one with passion.

I hope Man United have a similar lacklustre approach to playing a league one side

I hope Man United have a similar lacklustre approach to playing a league one side Would still be a easy comfortable win for them, the way we've been playing.

I startled Mrs ST with a rendition of 'he's not very tall'.

And to think we used to have Goldson, Woods, Taylor and Bradshaw all in the starting 11 not so long ago...
Hopefully Smith, Jones, Anderson, Rowley/Burton and Anderson will make up the next batch of fresh talent coming out of the youth ranks.

Posh didn't look like a Westley team at all. Be surprised if they don't make the play-offs playing like that. After a a long time out injured last season, Taylor looks to be back to his best. Always thought he was more than the "headless chicken with no end product" some on here described him as. Have we ever really replaced him?

The one thing that he has learned whilst at Posh is awareness of potential passes.

Not as naturally talented as Woods or Goldson but always good for a few goals and played with energy and desire something we've often lacked this season.

I remember seeing him at Ford petrol station and had a few words with him . He seemed a very pleasant young man but , to be honest I had difficulty understanding what he said , his scouse accent was very pronounced . For all I know he could have told me to f.ck off. He certainly gave 100% for the Town and I am sure the majority of fans appreciated that .

Hes certainly come on a Peterborough, as we never sold a player as the finished article. Never doubted his desire or work rate, but there were a lot of time where his final pass and particularly crossing was not all the good. Still one of the better players of the last 10 years for us though.

Dare I say that Westley came across very well in the first and second leg of this tie. And he's certainly got Posh playing some great stuff. I'm starting to understand why PNE were looking to take a chance on him. Can't say I was sure why before now.

Was always a big fan of Taylor's. He got too much stick from our fan base.

Coming from Runcorn, I'm familiar with scouse (not as a speaker, you understand, I'm strictly woollyback). Had he been saying that, I think you'd have known the difference!

Struggled to reconcile his TV manner and the attractive style of his team with the figure I've loved to hate all this time. Whatever next? Steve Evans visiting a refugee camp for Children In Need?

Was always a big fan of Taylor's. He got too much stick from our fan base. Ditto. Agreed the lad has really come on seeing his performance last night, but he was never the worst performer on the pitch for us, despite getting far more stick than others on here. I'd have him back tomorrow.

Gave me a lift home (twice) when it was raining on my lengthy walk back from the bus stop from College, as he used to live just down the road. Really nice genuine bloke (although like Severnheaven I could hardly understand his accent!) and someone who really developed in his last season with us and looks to have kicked on further. Always had some holes in his game but the combination of his incredible work rate and passion with the pace and eye for goals he possesses means he is useful player who can very easily improve as an all-round player and he does look to have done so. Don't think he got that much stick from our fans, though - he had his one season where he didn't score all year and maybe some people got frustrated with him, but he pushed on past that and I always thought he was regarded as a real favourite.
