What was that day at Northwich all about?! 2500.. Mental, I know we were doing well in the league.. But it was the conference! We always take big away followings over the Christmas period, but we only 1200 to burton (which is problie closer) last year when we were pushing for the title in league 2!!

Even my in laws to watch us at Farnborough, comfortable win from what I remember. Was there first ever live football game, not sure they were that impressed... Pleased that we don't have to play that standard week in week out.

Liked JQ, not sure if management was really for him although he gave it a good go at quite a few clubs, the last club he managed was Nantwich I think? Talking of former players with new careers, I wonder if Richard Hope is still painting oil rigs in the North Sea? I thought Richard Hope was the oil rig. Mind you best memories of Richard Hope was chanting " You should have signed for a big Club" during the Rexham home game as he donated us the first goal the season they went down Richard Hope will always be a Town legend me, not for what he did for us (though he was a decent CH) but for what he did for Wrexham. Was lovely to celebrate putting one of the last nails in their FL coffin as much as they celebrated doing the same to us a few years before. (Here is where the similarity ended as they "sadly" didn't get back up 12 months later).

Worse toilets than the GM!! Yes, but at least you could go for a p**s in the Gents, and still watch the game by peeping over the wall. Could you? I went for a p**s in there and missed a screamer by Joss Ladabie one year. Maybe you're taller then me!

J Q often used to drink in the club I go to as he played for the local Sunday league team When he was not Town Boss. Went on to Manage Nantwich. Also see Steve Davis from Nantwich/ now Crewe Boss in the same club. Really enjoyed some of the away games in the conference. Taking over Chester's ground, Packing Northwich who Were playing at Whiton Albian's ground at the time. And that great Day at Stoke. Looking back I'v no idea how some of the saves we made were allowed to stand . He was miles off his line. But a great trip home seeing town fans in every beer garden we past.
