If Connor is lucky he might get an appearance or 2 in the FA Cup for Brighton!
Ryan Woods on the other hand has had 2 starts now and played a full game at Brentford!

Think Whalley might stand a better chance of getting a game at Brighton....

I think will be a while before he makes it to the bench with the number of players ahead of him in the queue. Dunk did make it off the bench and started on Saturday. He'll need to be patient and bide his time.

I see Brighton are first. At a young age Connor will be up and down, especially at a level he's never played at before. Brighton are not a team that need that at the moment. On the other hand Brentford are way down the table for a reason, playing Woods can send messages to the other and more experienced players that they are not playing good enough!

I'm sure we've been here before on this one, Brighton are top, only team in all four divisions unbeaten and hardly conceding. Why would CG command a place in the 16?? As already stated what he needs is to go out on a temp loan with a 24hr recall, hence the calls for him to come bk to us

The original post was originally meant as an observation only. Poor move by CG as he has left to strengthen their U21 and the manner of his move alledgedly upset the hierarchy at Shrewsbury (ironic after his reason for rejecting Swansea a premier league club) as stated by MM on Shrewsplayer so seems unlikely a loan back is a possibility. It is bad news allround as we now currently have a very poor performing defence!

Think Whalley might stand a better chance of getting a game at Brighton.... Whalley probably will be lucky to even make the bench against Fleetwood tomorrow.

I believe that he was on the bench a few weeks ago.
The problem is getting that chance to get on the pitch. Even if he regularly becomes a match day squad member he will need to hope for a break to get some game time- be it a red card or injury to another defender.
Until then these threads will appear as often as the Micky D and Bradshaw ones.

He'll get there. It is a huge step up from League Two/One to the Championship so it will take some time. He'll grow at Brighton who have better coaches, players and facilities.
